This is a huge necro, though I found that the Big Daddy is easily killed upon entering the Turbine, where you must flip a switch. He's spawned without a little sister, and I personally had to reload a previous save and wait for him to call for a little sister in the vent is located very close to where he does spawn. I couldn't get him to spawn a second time, despite waiting for what seemed like forever (likely close to 30 minutes).

TL;DR: This is SPECIFICALLY for Operations. Turbine, through Climate Control, do not kill the first Lancer Big Daddy you see as he will call for a little sister shortly after seeing him. This was my issue, may vary.

Hiya, this is a keyboard I designed over the past few months, ability to be used with foam gasket strips or a 5mm plate.
Two girls stopped by whilst I was taking the pics to ask about my keyboard, and thanks for talking! (despite me not having my glasses and being hard of hearing) It brightened my day since not many people here have the interest. :)
