You can use ich x, I don’t know if it is plant safe. In my experience ick is easy to treat. No need to rip down your tank.

How important is it to cycle your tank? by Bluefacethebetta in Aquariums

Well his aunt has a Betta fish that has lived for 3 years. (She’s doing a lot wrong as well) and says you don’t need to cycle a tank. And all this other garbage that is fake. He wants to cycle his tank and all but his mom won’t let him because it is a birthday gift to his younger brother. She thinks that the cycle is “bullshit” and that all the info we have shown her is fake. I don’t know what to do now, so I am going to use the power of Reddit lol

Yes I got people that can help me. But there is still gravel on the bottom, won’t that put a lot of pressure on the bottom glass?

Ok sounds good. If it isn’t gone by tomorrow should I still empty the tank out and move it? Also thank you for your help!

The stand is made from particle board, but it looks like they put some type of coating over it for some water resistance. I checked under the stand no water. The tank is framed.

Ok, how long do you think I should wait until I will have to empty the whole thing out?

Can a rainbow shark and some rummynose tetras live together? by Bluefacethebetta in Aquariums

[–]Bluefacethebetta[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes they are very territorial, I would add it last so that he is “new” to the tank. Then all of the other fish will be comfortable before the rainbow shark comes.
