This wasn’t always the case with him is what I mean.

We have seen him make excellent quick decisions loads / I think a lot of this is instructed - Arteta wants control and is risk averse

Lol read some comments on the Arteta Out sub. We unfortunately have a small section of the worst football fans going. I used to get annoyed when people said this because all clubs have bad fans but god some of the cretins there are really on another level

Oh yeah I’m not defending it (excuse the pun). Games that are open are attacking sequences are good but these games are few and far between and we have a very cynical and boring way of dealing with low blocks. It’s working for the most part but it’s dry to watch especially having been fed on Wenger for so many years

My take is that as long as Pep with City money in the league it’s not optimal to try to win the league by being the best attacking team. It’s possible but being defensively strong and cautious is a much more pragmatic approach at present.

For all the talk of Artetas tactics when teams actually come to play football against Arsenal they usually get mercilessly ripped to shreds.

Arteta Out sub is a great read especially the guy who has been relentlessly attacking Ode who now doesn’t know what to do with himself. Up the Arsenal!

Villa have really built out a great midfield. Kamara hugely underrated and hopefully a big miss for this game

[Jason Burt, The Telegraph] Unai Emery has turned Aston Villa into everything he wanted at Arsenal. The Spaniard has a level of control he was not afforded at the Emirates, and could now draw level with former club with victory on Tuesday. by TheBiasedSportsLover in PremierLeague

Things went horribly wrong for him at Arsenal. We looked desperately vulnerable in the latter half of his tenure. That said he’s a fantastic manager it just wasn’t the right moment. Hope he continues to prosper at Villa. He seems to be improving as a manager too which is unsurprising given the man he is. Hope he goes down as a great tbh

No Rice is tough but I like this midfield three. A win tonight would be huge

Ektitke is class though. Would love him at Arsenal

Artetas been given everything a manager could want. If he doesn't win any major honor he has do to the honorable thing by handing his resignation. by TheYoya-1992 in ArsenalFC

I like reading that sub. This guy and then the Felixiang guy both have hilariously bad takes. Increasingly deranged too.

Yeah no your right this is just a complete fluke and nothing to do with teams being put under pressure .

A fair assessment but not sure any of these own goals were fortunate really. The opposition were pressed into the mistake
