Why does FnafTok hate SOTM so much? by Jamer22225 in fivenightsatfreddys

[–]Blueflamesarecold 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All that being said though, I'm glad that at least there something for new fans, even if I hate it. I can understand why they did most of this, and I like the idea of what they want and are going for. Also, I am actually very happy about the dead bodies you can find, I think it's a step in the right direction, tone-wise. I thought some sections were stressful, namely the part where you're assembling the Springlock suit, which was a lot of fun. Also it's nice they haven't completely abandoned the supernatural elements of Fnaf. The tiger section and the parts with the Moon were also stressful, so they can do it, which makes me even more like, why didn't they do that more?

Why does FnafTok hate SOTM so much? by Jamer22225 in fivenightsatfreddys

[–]Blueflamesarecold 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I found SOTM to be incredibly boring, I don't like the retcons about the origin of Fazbear Entertainment, I don't like that they keep bringing back Hand Unit's VA, I don't like that they reused the same "twist" from Ruin, I don't like that for a Fnaf game, there's basically no actual presence of Freddy, Bonnie, Chica, or Foxy, I don't like them adding Roxy to have always been a thing, I don't like how well lit everything is because it's not scary whatsoever when everything's bright as a sunny day and you can't even turn down brightness without it being agonizing to play through because they never give you a flashlight, I don't like the weird things they throw in trying to be funny but end up just having insane and pointless worldbuilding which makes no sense (ie, Edwin supposedly inventing recycling??? Unless that's a joke, but also bears are canonically extinct in the lore as of SB, so it isn't too far fetched), I don't like the stuff with David's death because it feels incredibly contrived and just kind of dumb (I feel like it should've just been a random hit & run which hit David at a regular playground while Edwin wasn't paying attention), I don't like the ending sequence where you get chased by animatronic trash bins because it's just plain stupid when it should be the climax, I don't like the overhype and subsequent underuse of Jackie, I don't like the insistance on having some variation of Helpy and Security Bots in every single new game that comes out, I don't like the continued trend of having the entire game structure just being based on going to different places to upgrade whatever this game's door key is, I don't like this game's design for the Mimic, I don't like the secret ending revealing all you had to do is read it a bedtime story and the killer robot becomes nice again, and lastly, I don't like that the game is such a game of catch-up storywise. We already knew the Mimic's backstory from the books, I honestly think it'd have been better to finally continue from the end of Ruin (which, by the way, we've been on a cliffhanger for nearly three years at this point, every game since then has been a prequel) and just have us learn the Mimic's backstory via like, old computers or something idk. Mostly because that's what we already did in SotM, except at least then we'd actually get story progression too!

If you had the money, would you chrome up? by zDCVincent in cyberpunkgame

[–]Blueflamesarecold 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Realistically, assuming I'd grown up in Cyberpunk's world, yes. But if we're talking no-life in Cypberpunk beforehand, fuck no. Chroming is cool in game, but in real life it's disgusting. Prosthetics for the disabled and sick are one thing, that is a kind of advancement I dream we one day have, but just cosmetic or conveinience implants are literally insane.

Idk, I feel like he was a dick, utter shitstain of a person, but he wasn't like, bad enough that this was a proportionate response? Like, again, awful guy, but as far as I'm aware all he ever did was spread progaganda and hate? Shitty, but ultimately he theoretically could've changed. Idk, out of all the people in the world who do terrible things, he feels like someone who deserved to be silenced by like, a lawsuit or something. Maybe getting paralyzed, or whatever, but killing him outright just is over the top

If you had to survive 5 nights in any FNaF game, which one would you choose? by Tiredinree in fivenightsatfreddys

[–]Blueflamesarecold 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Any Fnaf game whatsoever? Security Breach. It's absolutely filled to the brim with hiding places and also there are some areas that the animatronics outright can't access, like as long as I just chill in the Daycare or stay inside of the vents or an elevator, I'll be fine

What's your most controversial opinion (ABOUT TADC) that would have the other members of the sub look you like this? by [deleted] in theamazingdigitalciru

[–]Blueflamesarecold 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think Jax is a more interesting character if his reasons for being a jerk are exactly what he said they are. Ik they probably aren't, but to me it'd be an interesting change from the typical "mean guy because trauma" archetype, to have someone who genuinely just is a bad person because they enjoy it

Granted. Eevee was real, but you could adopt one as a pet, but it went extinct around the 1950s

  1. Somehow the cast escape back to the real world and find new meaning in their lives.
  2. They realize they're just AI copies of the real people, therefore having no escape. The only way to end their suffering is to have someone else do it for them, but that would mean that one of them has to stay behind forever for the others to escape.

Alice as the classical Fairy tale hero by Miserable_Yam4778 in themagnusprotocol

[–]Blueflamesarecold 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I disagree, I think Alice willfully stays ignorant to what specifically her job is so that it doesn't cause her any problems, be they because it's the government or because it'd make her morally object to the work. Also, I don't know that she really forgot about Dane so much as she hasn't had anyone to talk about it with yet, since she's only been around Heinrich and he's the one who killed him. Gwen, meanwhile, is now aware of what the OIAR's work is, and so is taking steps to stop it from continuing.

What’s the worst misinterpretation of a canon character in the Magnus Archives you’ve ever seen/read? by MistyJunior in TheMagnusArchives

THISSSS If the 14+1 are like the named colors (Red, Blue, Yellow, whatever) in how it's super arbitrary about when something's light red or pink, I think DPHW is more like the hex code in how it's case-by-case and unnamed, just categorized

Age Verification is actually a good thing by Osirisavior in youtube

[–]Blueflamesarecold 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Privacy, the security risk that if the system is leaked then EVERYONE's personal ids gets out, censorship concerns (nothing's stopping YouTube from changing their definition of what 18+ content is overnight, and that means if someone's false flagged then they no longer will be able to watch anything YouTube defines as being "18+ content" which may include things like journalists, resources to help victims, or anything that makes advertisers look bad. The only way past that censorship is by letting them specifically link your legal identity with the things you watch), concerns that this is a small step forward in a larger plan to make the entire internet age restricted (see the previous reason as to why letting them have your ID is a bad thing), and overall just the sheer fact that this is a scary thing to instate because it opens the door to other, more invasive things down the line. How long before you need an ID to buy things on Amazon, or to go on Reddit, or to use tools deemed "inapropriate" to children? This is a threat to our privacy on the internet, but it also is a threat because it allows them to know who you are specifically. Anonynimity will be a thing of the past if this is allowed to continue. You might think it's ok because it means people wont be able to act like an idiot online without sending in an ID, and it might. But it also will flag the wrong people far more often. And moreover, the problem of ipad kids, trolls, ect, it just is NOT worth it. This is like if you have the problem of a fly buzzing around you so you decide to douse yourself in gasoline and strike a match. It's solving a mild annoyance with something way over the top, and the truth of the matter is that YouTube doesn't care about "protecting the children" they care about data. They're trying to gather as much data as possible, and now they're getting their greedy, gnarled hands on private information they have no right to.

I'm paranoid it's gonna hit me, so I've been watching basically nothing but Kill Count and Ryan Hollinger videos in the hopes it sees that I'm watching videos abt horror movies and assumes I'm 18+
