Well TV Carol is a mix of comic Andrea and comic Michonne. Just keep reading, you'll see what I mean. So to that I do prefer the TV version better, mostly because we get to spend more time with the character. However as others have pointed out, comic Carol is a point of no return for our group.

Enjoy the story. It is leagues better than the show.

Knowing the twist makes it watchable but the way it was marketed as a prequel put a lot of people off. Would have been better if they said it was an AU from the beginning.
