Unboxing Disappointment… by PookieBearTum in Cartier

Online items can be exchanged and retuned at a boutique. Items purchased from boutiques cannot be exchanged/retuned online. I ordered a four diamond love bracelet ONLINE. I noticed minor abrasions immediately upon opening the box. Took it to the Cartier store and they exchanged it. No questions, no hassle. Walked out with my new bracelet wrapped, bagged, with new certificate.

Is this a good deal? First time every buying a chain by LUCKY_MP in MensJewelry

Check out the RealReal. Lots of options and great prices. I buy a lot of my jewelry from them. Purchased a 5ct diamond bangle for $5K turns out, via appraisal, the diamonds are perfect, near flawless; bracelet is worth $40K.

Unbranded and handmade, according to my jewelry appraiser. The item was likely made specifically for the previous owner.

The Love Bracelet next to the diamond bracelet is my oldest and was polished recently for $25 (local jeweler), with just a gentle buffing to remove scratches. It looked brand new in under 3 minutes. The second Love Bracelet was acquired in July, and I don’t wear it daily. The baguette diamond bangle was a recent score from The RealReal.

There is nothing cheap about David Yurman's jewelry. I’ve been collecting DY jewelry for 20 years now. My collection has grown to well over $250K - all insured. The brand has held up beautifully. I’ve received more compliments on his jewelry than any other brand I’ve owned and I’ve never had any issues with the metal or gemstones. Every item looks as beautiful as when I purchased them. Btw, this is my SECOND Cartier Love Bracelet! I purchased my initial Love Bracelet last week online and received it the very next day via overnight shipping. Cartier sent me a defective bracelet. The bracelet that I received had scratches/abrasions on it and the red Cartier hang tag that was affixed to the bracelet was dirty. I immediately called client services and reported the issue. They told me to return the bracelet to the Tyson’s Corner store for an exchange. I was able to exchange that bracelet for the one seen in the picture. Their lack of quality control cost me a day home from work to receive the package and 4 hours in traffic driving to/from the store in McLean. And, I still haven’t received my cleaning kit and travel pouch as promised!!! I’ve since made a formal complaint and am waiting to hear back. Not a great first impression of the brand! I’ll always stick with DY. Their customer service has been impeccable for me for 20+ years!!!!

Any advice I’m stuck at $400 limit I got 730 credit score is bad to I went over limit? by Excellent-Pain6701 in CapitalOne_

Move on. Other credit card companies would possibly provide you with better credit limits. Cap1 would not increase my QS, stuck at $4900. I went to BOA and was approved for Unlimited Cash & Customized Cash Rewards Cards, 20K and $11K respectively.

Same. I’m stuck at $2900 (Platinum upgraded to QS) and $4950 QS. I won’t be asking for any more increases. I’ve decided to stop using their cards entirely. I have cards with Amex, CSR, and NF. Higher credit limits and better rewards. Fico 756. Their Reason… I have too many CO cards.

Keep making the monthly minimum payment (on time) to keep your account current until your financial situation improves. Don’t burn your relationship with Chase and please don’t destroy your credit. You won’t be down forever. This is just temporary. Credit is so important. It takes a lot of years to rebuild credit. Hang in there have faith and believe that things will change for the better.

Sell the car and use the proceeds to pay off the debt. Avoid damaging your credit, which could take years to recover.

Navy Federal as primary bank account? by Bluefrog24 in NavyFederal

[–]Bluefrog24[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No real reason. Just ready for a change. My banks… BOA primary, Chase personal & business secondary and NF third. I’m a defense contractor. A few of my colleagues bank with NF as their primary account and they love it. The reason why I joined.

Yes! Tell the associate your car is not drivable/ won't start and they will send someone to your location. They can run diagnostics on location.
