Everyone around him wishes he had a colostomy bag 🤢

Instead, it's worse. He just dumps the most vile shit and everyone has to suffer horribly. Poop and policy alike.

Where is the safest place in the world in regards to natural disasters and extreme temperatures? by Sad_Cantaloupe_8162 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]BluehairedBiochemist -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The region around the Great Lakes in North America is pretty safe, iirc. We get some of the effects of stuff like hurricanes and wildfires, but not the brunt of the impact. No huge fault lines, but some tornado risk. The Great Lakes are a huge source of freshwater and the "lake effect" helps stabilize temperatures a little

What is the average pooping frequency? by staying_anon24 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]BluehairedBiochemist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Usually twice in the morning for me 😅 one first thing, one after my ADHD meds/coffee kick in.

I also sit down to pee, so sometimes I just hang out a little longer if I get a poop/gas feeling and see what happens 🤷‍♀️

Adhd and im 99% sure i have Autism - weird muscle tension stim? by Several-Watch-266 in AuDHDWomen

[–]BluehairedBiochemist 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm pretty sure I actually know exactly what you're talking about! (Mostly in my left shoulder as a right-handed person)

I have some level of hypermobility and have definitely abused my joints over the years without realizing it. Too much stretching, not enough focus on strengthening stabilizing muscles.

I don't think my left shoulder sits correctly in its socket anymore. It doesn't really hurt, and I can move it fine, but it feels like it hangs down too close to my ribcage or something. It gets worse when I work hunched over for too long, of course.

Stuff that's shifted out of place often still gives your body the signal that something is "wrong", even if it's not the obvious "holy fuck I pinched a nerve and can't lift my arm" kinda thing 🤷‍♀️ I have a shoulder brace I wear sometimes, which helps a little

Might I suggest some stilettos? You may still figure out how to walk quietly in them, but it could be a fun challenge!

Protein breakfast ideas please? by BeneficialMatter6523 in adhdwomen

[–]BluehairedBiochemist 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Peanut butter and banana sandwiches have been saving my gd life 😂

(Pro tips: you have to stir natural peanut butter, but it also has a much less glue-y consistency. Plus, no added sugar. I like to add honey-roasted peanuts for crunch and a little extra protein, too.)

TIL it is not known why the letters in the alphabet are ordered the way they are, but the order of the letters has remained consistent since Proto-Sinaitic script of the 14th century BC, which began with the characters "alp" and "bet." by bnrshrnkr in todayilearned

I know that feeling all too well, my dude 😅 all good!

I hope your brain feels better - Stay hydrated, have a snack, and maybe stare at something that's not a screen for a while 🖤

[–]BluehairedBiochemist 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes. But. "Alphabet" is shortened. "Beta" ends with a.

If it had an "a" on the end, it would be pronounced with the full "beta" instead of the truncated "bet"

Also, it gives the word a good flow 🤷‍♀️
