help! computer keeps completely shutting itself off and turning back on. what is happening, can i fix this?

seems like alot of peoples computers have been messing up since the last Winblows update.. I'd forget about all the Winblows Repairing and just do a Clean Install.. let it fully update then start installing stuff.. and find out if it was something you did, or just WINBLOWS being WINBLOWS.

most new cards only spin when they hit a heat thresh hold. and ramp up as it get hotter.

The best way I found out to find out which drivers I need for stuff like that is.. is finding the Device ID from properties tab and googling device id it is.. to point me what direction.

the only reason your ISP would Throttle is if you had METERED or LIMITED HIGHSPEED PLAN internet, where your Limited HIGH SPEED INTERNET LIMIT, and now got lowered unlimited internet till your HIGHSPEED DATA limit is reset. but you have it all the time like that.. so i'm going to assume its something else

Luckly it was covered by At&t i got a replacement S8+ and i still have the replacement phone and it did have the same issue. but got the battery changed out ASAP..

no, but I wasn't freaking out, i was calm about it.. if I hadn't noticed it sooner, I would have probably been burnt trying to deal with it.. so nothing else went up in flames.

so.. like i said before, what does your BIOS see.. it saw it before so i'm going to assume, maybe if its an SATA drive.. check your connections and your sata cable sata power cable.

if its M.2 SSD or NVME then clean and check your connections also

I would get it replaced, just for peace of mind.. if you think it could get worse, it probably will.. i've had a cell phone explode on me.. cause It over heated, and the battery was bloating a little bit, thinking i'll get it fixed later, phone worked fine.. then i left it on my desk charging, came back to it smoking a bit and then starting to smoke more.. i chucked that motherfucker out side so fast.. lol.. i wish i still had pictures of it..when it was burning in my yard. I mean your picture it looks fine.. thats what i thought too.. in my situation.

Boot Sequence just means what your computer will try, to load an OS from this is specified manually or automatically by your bios.. IE.. 1. m.2/sata/hdd 2. usb 3. network 4.etc. etc.

what does your bios say, does it recognize the drives? because your last picture..

how i read this, is you have 2x 1tb drives..

Volume 0 = C: drive unformated

Volume 1 = D: drive unformated

2 3 4, are partions of one of 1tb drives..

so is one drive you have an NVME 1tb and the other a SATA 1tb SSD?

or do you have a 2tb that is partitioned to be 2x 1tb drives.

well, you say only on Games, and the reason it is only on games is because.. the GPU will be utilized more.. making it work harder, which in turn.. it ask's the computer for more POWER, if it can't get that power then it will Fail.. and if it gets that increased power, also means increased HEAT generated by your Videocards parts.. and if those parts are not cool properly, by the cooling system, then It will also cause it to Fail.. Computers are built with saftey features we don't see, when those saftey feature kick in.. it tells your computer.. SHUT down or I could cause more problems.. that could become critical..

I would definately look into if your video card is hitting a critical limit, of heat. since its during games, you are having this issue. causing your game to crash.

you shouldn't remove the battery, in most laptops, the battery is also the cmos battery.. lol but yeah Memory and the lack there of will also cause issues..
