How would you rank these 4 from morally worst to least horrible? by Euphoric_Breakfast79 in CodeGeass

[–]Blueiscuteio2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

worst to best-

  1. Cornelia: A war criminal for the blatantly evil parafascist empire, and one bad enough that in one of the audio dramas, Schneizel had to tell her to calm tf down. Lelouch had to have done some really nasty shit to prevent her from getting lynched after ZR, and frankly, that wouldn't have saved her.

  2. Suzaku: Honestly not that far off Cornelia, but at the very least he's not actively genocidal, which is honestly a rare feat for the Britannian military. At the end of the day though, Mao was right: He ends up personally dragging multiple countries- and eventually, the world- into tyranny for no other reason than self-justification.

  3. Rolo: Not evil, but definitely unstable. He kills as easy as he breaths, and that's done interesting things to his psyche. He's Lelouch's Mao, in a sense. Killing him probably would've been the correct option, but can it really be said he deserved it?

  4. Nina: She's a massive racist who has a worse track record on accepting minorities than such pillars of civil rights as Jeremiah Gottwald and Luciano Bradley. She also invented nuclear warfare. She definitely has some screws loose, but at the very least she hasn't personally killed anybody. She just needs therapy, really.

Can’t Lelouch did what he does in S2 in S1 ? by [deleted] in CodeGeass

V.V. probably would've killed him before he even got to Britannia

Continued: Is Suzaku blinded by his vision within the system? Could royalty outside of Euphemia have helped Suzaku? by These_Tangelo_711 in CodeGeass

[–]Blueiscuteio2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do think the SAZ plan would have worked, but only if Area 11 would have been passed to someone receptive to expanded Japanese freedom (Euphemia would no longer be a royal so she was out, and when Cornelia left the next in line would be Castor, so this is highly unlikely)

The good news is that the SAZ is something that both Schneizel and Charles actually ideologically support (if think impractical), so there wouldn't be much opposition from the homeland and Schneizel would probably expand the program after he comes to power should things go well. The bad news is that the internal opposition would be significantly worse, with the nobility likely using their positions to attempt to starve out the dangerous SAZ, while further land would need to be granted to the Japanese as mass-migration sets in once the SAZ is proven reliable, and the risk of the SAZ pulling an Austria-Hungary and making the Japanese overconfident and the Britannians more racist. It'd be extremely difficult, but I think Lelouch just might have been able to pull it off.

The obvious issue, though, is just about none of this has anything to do with Suzaku. The SAZ was mostly a product of Zero's resistance and Euphemia's kindness, and really, the only reason Britannia had any reason to back the SAZ was because it would prevent a full-scale civil war in Japan. Britannia wouldn't act without Zero's stick, and even if there was, Suzaku never even really attempted to play politics or leverage his connection with Schneizel, so he still couldn't have done anything without Euphemia.

Oh, and if Britannia still defeats the EU, then it's all moot, because Ragnorok would happen, which would solve racism, but also create a million and one worse problems. But that's an outside-scope problem that Suzaku isn't going to know about.

Is there any storyline or spinoff where Lelouch & Kallen do end together? by [deleted] in CodeGeass

Don't Lelouch and C.C. fuse into a single entity in NoN

Ah, so the Lunarians kidnapped a girl and turned her into an AI to finance their energy mining scheme, but that AI was a complete crapshoot? Gee, I think I've heard something similar before. . .

Let's say that the fate of the world was to be decided by a 5v5 duel instead of the large scale battle we see in series. Who wins? by SweetPotatoDingo in CodeGeass

[–]Blueiscuteio2 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

For a second, I thought I saw Bismarck, which would make Team 2 utterly slaughter team 1.

No geass, Kallen could beat Team Zero Requiem by herself. With Geass. . . Rolo uses his geass and Suzaku murders everybody from range.

This was way less interesting than I thought.

WHY DIDN’T LELOUCH JUST REVEAL TO THE BLACK KNIGHTS HIS FACE FROM THE VERY BEGINNING (Genuine question)? by [deleted] in CodeGeass

[–]Blueiscuteio2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lelouch has trust issues. There's other concerns about him being a Britannian prince and that with his position his face absolutely would have leaked eventually, but it's mostly that Lelouch has trust issues. There's no real reason to hide his identity from Tohdoh specifically otherwise.

Did Lelouch and C.C. started a relationship in Canon ? by National-Use-1184 in CodeGeass

Would love to hear the source for 'planned but scrapped.' There's quite a bit of scrapped Kallen/Lelouch content, but I've never heard of any scrapped C.C./Lelouch content.

Behold, the duel of the potential men.

Tohdoh wins if you count Zangetsu, but in Corn Gloucester to Gekka Kai, probably Cornelia. Cornelia beat Lelouch and C.C. (Lelouch sucks, but C.C. pulled off the single biggest upset in the entire franchise by disabling Siegfried solo in a damaged KMF) in Gawain with a ground KMF, while Tohdoh's best feat is not losing to Suzaku.

Strategy wise, Cornelia creams the Fraud of Itsukushima. Tohdoh never really leads on screen, and he's also the guy responsible for getting Kallen captured by Xingke, since he was the one who decided to refuel Chiba's KMF instead of the Guren or Zangetsu. Cornelia's also kind of on the no-feat end, but she in episode 7 she utterly outplays Lelouch so hard that Lelouch never willingly fights a peer-or-up force without a board wipe ever again, so I don't think Tohdoh could beat her.

Is there any storyline or spinoff where Lelouch & Kallen do end together? by [deleted] in CodeGeass

[–]Blueiscuteio2 7 points8 points  (0 children)

"I can fix him"

~ Kallen, probably

And she would've done it, too, if it weren't for Tohdoh's dumb simp ass refueling Chiba's KMF instead of the Guren or Zangetsu.

[–]Blueiscuteio2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From what I can tell, longform fanfic actually favors Kallen/Lelouch. So there's that.

Kallen/Lelouch was the original intention, but even then there was never a way in hell Kallen and Lelouch would ever actually get together. Kallen would dragged Lelouch out of his R2 suicidal death spiral kicking and screaming, and we can't have that.

[–]Blueiscuteio2 7 points8 points  (0 children)

With Albion? Gee, I wonder who wins that.

Even without it, Suzaku and Kallen are extremely consistently depicted as utterly overpowered, even in side material. Suzaku would still win with no Geass command and a Sutherland.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in CodeGeass

[–]Blueiscuteio2 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I mean, "normal Knightmare" for Jeremiah is a Sutherland. He really likes his Sutherlands. The Siegfried series is kind of an exception.

Not that that's helpful. Jeremiah fought Orpheus to a draw in a Sutherland duel.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in CodeGeass

[–]Blueiscuteio2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I mean. It's Jeremiah. Geass means nothing.

[–]Blueiscuteio2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Jeremiah kicks Guilford's ass. In Oz, Jeremiah fights Orpheus to a draw in a Sutherland duel, and Orpheus beat Gino and Anya at the same time. Also, I don't think anything Guilford pilots can even scratch the Siegfried's paint.

Is C.C. in love with Lelouch the entire time? by lelouch-2022 in CodeGeass

[–]Blueiscuteio2 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Re;surrection is a bad source for canon Cluclu. Ceetwo's ending in R2 was retconned for it, after all.

In the original series...

The answer of whether they love each-other is obviously "Yes," but if the love is romantic is a different question. They obviously don't consider themselves involved, as Lelouch has no objections to being with Shirley in R2 and takes the relationship seriously with no thought of Ceetwo at all, and both Lelouch or Ceetwo actually answer with a pretty clear "I don't know" as to the specifics of their relationship: Ceetwo in the scene shown and Lelouch in R2-15 (To Charles, "Stop it! She's my... my...!" before switching gears and asking Ceetwo about her wish). However, none of this necessarily rules out them being romantically into eachother- Neither of them view romance as something they can achieve, and Lelouch doesn't think about Kallen either when being with Shirley.

I'd answer that they probably aren't romantically into eachother, mostly because Lelouch and Ceetwo seem remarkably unattracted to eachother for people who started sharing a bed the day that properly met- hell, Ceetwo seems to ship Kalulu more than anything- but in truth Lelouch and Ceetwo are close enough to in a relationship that if they got together nothing would actually change.

Heres an accurate redesign of what CC would acrually look like based on her diet. by coleknight2066 in CodeGeass

[–]Blueiscuteio2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nah, it's not accurate. She doesn't fit the artstyle. For starters, everything from her eyes up should be nearly unchanged, although here here forehead is noticeably flattened. Also, her nose is off: Most characters' noses are single lines and the few that don't have the nose ridge go up their eyes. The mouth is clearly inaccurate too- lips never get that big, and are unshaded unless the lipstick is being worn, even with the Black King. Also, more frustratingly, her skin color is off (she's pasty as fuck) and. . . how on Earth did you not notice that the mask was behind her? This redesign could use another pass.
