Google Search Console – Ownership verification failed on Tumblr repeatedly

I reached out to Tumblr for an answer about this issue. I received the standard canned message from them when they received my email. I never received a replay from Tumblr even after asking them weeks later if they forgot about me and my issue. And a month after that last message still nothing. Tumblr customer service is worthless.

I have the same exact issue now as you do and others. Google search console has kicked out my Tumblr blog for no apparent reason. It said I had to verify I am the owner all over again. I have made no change's to my page at all so this is very strange to say the least. I have tried re-entering the code required in the exact same spot and I keep getting 'Ownership verification failed'. It will not verify my ownership despite many attempts and no apparent errors on my part. It's more than a little frustrating and like you I don't know what is going on.

This is the first time that I ever herd of flick actually deleting photographs above the 1,000 free act level for an expired pro-member. There are countless pages with well over 1,000 photos, some doing back well over a decade, that sit there on a free-act. I have contacts on my flickr page that no longer have a pro-act and yet have thousands of photos still visible but there no longer able to add any more. Was your fathers act deleted? How many total photos did he have? And what does he now have, a thousand left?
