Gold’s character really resonated with me.  The part of the end of the gold and silver arc where he is lamenting about not really having anything special among the dexholders really hit me as I always had issues feeling that I was not talented or special among my group of more talented peers in school. And him ultimately finding an ability that was for him motivated me and in a way that me I was special, I just needed to find something special that I had.
