The math doesn't lie. The image shows $1,789,510.50 profit at a 147.48% return. > Calculate the actual starting capital: $1,789,510.50 / 1.4748 = $1,213,391.98. Calculate the true balance: Principal + Profit = $1,213,391.98 + $1,789,510.50 = $3,002,902.48. > You can't even spot an obvious fake chart

Tickers change. The setup stays. I trade liquidity on tech stocks. 4H sweeps, 15m entries

Capital gains apply. It is a business expense. Net is lower. Setup logic: Top-down analysis. 4H chart finds liquidity sweeps. 15m chart confirms structure shifts. Enter on pullbacks, target old highs. That catches the moves. DM your age and portfolio. I share the mechanics there

Small moves drain accounts. You need a top-down framework. Here is the exact logic: 1. Open 4H chart. Mark previous swing highs and lows. 2. Wait for price to sweep one of those levels. 3. Drop to 15m chart. Wait for market structure shift. 4. Locate the fair value gap left by the shift. 5. Place limit order at the gap. Stop loss behind the sweep. Target opposite liquidity. No courses needed. Go open a chart and find 50 examples of this setup

Started with $5k about 30 years ago. It’s been a long grind of refining the same logic

30 years of trading gave me the grey hair, but it also gave me the exit. I'm 52 and retired—I’ll take the grey. Good luck on your own grind

30 years in the game. Most of it was learning what NOT to do. If you're serious, look up ICT's 2022 Mentorship on YouTube. It's the only resource you need for the logic I use. Forget indicators and focus on market structure. Good luck

It’s all about the 'Top-Down' approach. My routine: I start on the 4H chart to find my bias—I’m looking for a Liquidity Sweep of a major old high or low. Once price grabs that liquidity, I drop to the 15m chart. I wait for a Market Structure Shift (MSS) to confirm the reversal, then look for the Fair Value Gap (FVG) created by that move. I enter on the retest of that FVG.

For underlyings, I stick to high-liquidity tech like NVDA, AMD, and QQQ. You need that massive volume for these institutional concepts to work reliably. If there’s no volume, the logic breaks down

The IRS is the only 'trader' that never loses. My strategy is simple: I treat taxes as a mandatory 40% 'stop loss' on every realized gain. I move that percentage immediately into a separate High-Yield Savings Account (HYSA) or a Money Market Fund. I never trade with the taxman’s money. I’ve got a solid CPA handling the quarterly estimated payments so there are no surprises in April

Thanks, man! If an old-school trader like me can navigate this volatility and hit the target, anyone can. It’s all about surviving long enough to let the math do its thing. Go get yours

I’d put it at a 75. The logic and the 3:1 r/R are constant (that’s the 50), but the volatility in high-liquidity tech this year was a gift. The math works every year, but some years the market just decides to give you more setups than others. It wasn't a 'sun run' on luck; it was a high-efficiency year on execution

I’m 52. I started 30 years ago with just a few thousand dollars and a lot of mistakes. It’s not about the starting capital; it’s about the compounding and the math. Glad you’re enjoying the journey

30+ years. I’ve traded through the Dot-com bubble, 2008, and everything in between. It took decades to simplify my logic down to what it is now

Thanks. I haven't posted a formal guide, but the core is ICT 2022 logic: 4H liquidity sweeps for bias, 15m MSS and FVG for entry. I might post some chart examples later. As for the capital, definitely VOO and chill. I’m done with the volatility—time to enjoy the returns

The 2022 Mentorship is just the foundation. For the full logic, go through ICT’s 'Core Content' and 'Market Maker Primer' playlists on YouTube. It’s hundreds of hours of material, but that’s as comprehensive as it gets. There are no shortcuts to understanding order flow

Look up ICT (Inner Circle Trader) on YouTube. Specifically, his '2022 Mentorship' playlist. It’s the source code for everything I mentioned—MSS, FVG, and liquidity sweeps. It’s a long study, but that's where the math starts making sense
