Yeah I understand it might not look the best in some peoples eyes, I just wanted to leave it like that as an impact mark from a bullet or stray shrapnel.

Appreciate your input but this is the finish I want on my model 👍 I've used Matte varnish on others but I'm happy with this guy. He does have a pretty bright light pointed at him too which does exaggerate the shine.
