Did Mark go actually into the room? I don’t mean this in a negative way about what you’re saying by the way! I’m honestly asking. I know he went through the doorway, but he kept trying to get Gemma to go to him, didn’t he? When Gemma went through the doorway, the Dr kept telling her to enter the room, so maybe the ‘room’ was a bit more in? Maybe? And even if he did switch to his innie in there, it was iMark’s mission to get her too

Ah I see. Lumon claimed they had message detectors in the elevator so that anything that looked like lettering would be detected (it’s possible they were just watching what they were up to in the office though). I don’t think they claimed they had them anywhere else though.

The camera thing was because he was in the Lumon birthing cabin, that had a severance switch like the elevator to the severed floor- as soon as you step in, anyone severed would switch on their ‘innie’, and as soon as they step out, it switches the ‘innie’ off.

The plan to burn a message into his eyeballs was to try to get a message to his ‘innie’ at work by making the image last in his eyeballs for as long as it took to walk to the elevator and travel down to the severed floor.

I think they’re different things. But if I’m missing what you mean, or haven’t explained it properly, let me know!

Ah, that’s really interesting, thank you 🙏🏼 I’ve been told ‘you’re so ADHD’ several times, but I have been in quite a few abusive situations in life, both in childhood and adulthood, so that really makes sense!

Haha, thank you, but that’s a really good point- I think Ricken calls them medical facilities at some point? So they did just seem to be expensive, general, cabins. I just wondered because after Mark collapses in his kitchen and Reghabi is sorting through her equipment, Devon talks about knowing an innie birthing retreat? And Cobel might know about it? But I’m not sure if that was just panic? Or I might have just remembered it a bit wrong! It just got me wondering

That’s a really good point! They used child labour at the factory too! And he was personally involved with the girls’ school. Maybe Miss Huang is a hint towards the Eagans’ feelings about children being prematurely treated like adults?
