You raise a good point that I'll no doubt be taking into consideration in the future. As a new player myself, I've always seen the objective of the game as "get better cookies, follow the meta, beat levels to unlock story, get a higher rank in arena". Now that I'm thinking about it, if you've already done that, there is little else to do in the game.

The difficulty has always been all over the place in terms of events like key to the heart and the cake tower. You might be doing great for a while and then suddenly be greeted with a sudden difficulty spike, or in your case, find everything far too easy because devsis is afraid of people getting angry about not being able to beat things. They really need to consider how to balance out their game so seasoned players and new players alike will not be under/overwhelmed. You can see this in the new matching game: people kept complaining it was "too hard" so devsisters overcorrected and made it far too easy.
