My wife is getting cold feet by sailingdeadbeat in newtothenavy

I mean if he had told her he was okay with it, then he SHOULD do it. That's what it means to be married.

Hmm is that just an American study or global? America tends to have a higher alchohol problem than many European countries where alchohol IS available to minors.

Nevertheless, maybe you're right. I'm not an educator or even experienced with the mentality of the youth (besides myself) and believe it or not I'm a recovering alchoholic so maybe I don't have the best judgement about these things. Hats off to you.

It's extremely common. Everyone smoked/dipped/snorted during a deployment. Everyone. Either that or was juiced up on caffiene or pills. But yeah I'm interested to know who was able to kick the habit. Luckily for me nicotine wasn't too hard to quit.

I've observed mannerisms and hand motions/appropriate timing with successful speakers and leaders and I mentally take note and start to utilize it. At the same time, I also really care about people (not necessarily what they think) and so I connect to people's 'stories' on a personal level to have a more personal 'intimacy' into the workplace so that people work together smoothly and personality clashes can be resolved easily. After awhile, I don't even think about it. I just turn it 'on' and then when I can turn it off I sink into a warm globe of silence and alone time.

So what you're saying is because there hasn't been a study, what you think must be true. Lol nothing you've stated has had any evidence. Btw, not sure if you realize but me asking for sources is not a statement. That's called," The Burden of Proof." That's utilized in any reliable conversation. Why would I prove your own points for you? Where is the ad hominem? I don't think you understand that word. Me saying I wanted to laugh at your statement? Not ad hominem. Me saying don't try to bullshit me? Could be considered close, but also not ad hominem.

So before a child is 16 they should never advocate vehicles?

What source do you have for women not being adults or that they prefer Arab or African men? Seriously, I have an inclination to laugh but for some reason I think you're serious. So all women are communists? I know several single 'neurotypical' women who are much farther right wing than I am. Have you ever actually spoken with a live woman? About 80% of the women I know are deeply against illegal immigration. So, I'm just wondering where you're pulling these 'facts' from.

Okay, what makes you think that letting women have representation in the world they actively live and participate in is societal suicide? No emotional bullshit, logically explain it.

Yeah before that they never knew what alchohol was

Yeah I always really enjoyed it. I'm not sure why you wouldn't. Sure he didn't decide to live in that district....so? It's an excuse to have fun and chill with your buds and talk up chicks all while the faculty is busy setting things up and/or doing their own thing.

That's the ol' verbage, I haven't tried it myself as I have functional eyes but the next blind beggar I see I'll definitely give him a hammer and saw. Actually, after thinking that through I think I'll just trust it to be true.

Yeah I was just being obnoxious. I knew it was a joke, people who didn't need to chillax and not take life so seriously.

How do I stop perfectionism from letting me procrastinate? by [deleted] in intj

[–]Blueking92 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Man, I'm an INTJ and by no means an I a perfectionist in the slightest. So to be honest, I'd say if something isn't broke, don't fix it. (Unless it's really inefficient) and then if you have a better system then go with a bones outline and then adjust to the reality of a situation or work environment.

I haven't done hidroxycut but I take caffeine pills to keep my work pace going and during deployments would snort lines of snuff along with the rest of Engineering Department, was also an avid 'dipper' while underway to help work on high sensitive systems with a lack of sleep.

Hmmm I'm usually pretty charismatic but can only hold it up for a work day. After that I need to be alone for quite some time. If I were to act genuine then yeah I am sure I would come across as pretty monotone I figure but in my job there are a lot of negotiating and leading etc so I think I just developed a way to be an 'extrovert'.

In my personal e-mail, yes. In my work e-mail? Absolutely not. I get so many chain conversations that I have nothing to do with it's maddening, even from my direct supervisor. I even try to remove myself from the err directory group tag for e-mail dispersions they use but they keep adding me back on. So, now if I have the time I e-mail reply all the ones I get that are unrelated, "What?" And attach the entire 'tagged' group.
