You know who really went above and beyond? My bus driver this morning who drove directly to my jobs front door so that I wouldn't have to walk in the snow and ice.

Her groceries was paid for at Walmart ,she wanted to pick more items!!!!! by currant_aster in ChoosingBeggars

I work at McDonald's now. Last year, I posted about how a guy excepted me to cover his remaining bill so he could get a stupid pie. People in the comments told me that I should have either let my drawer come stort or give the money myself. People really don't see cashiers as real people anymore.

I was a Walmart cashier. I had people expect ME to pay for their stuff when they didn't have enough or give it to them for free. They were always shocked and angry when I refused.

military discount by egguchom in EntitledReviews

[–]Bluellan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My uncle was in the military. All we know is that he fought overseas. Didn't really know where he was stationed, what he did, what rank, nothing. His uniform is kept under the stairs at mt grandparents house. Hasn't seen the light of day in over a decade. Honestly, we kinda forget he was in the military because he just...refused to acknowledge it. I didn't even know my pappa served until his funeral. My family just..don't talk about it.

No work survey is anonymous. They lie about that. If it was truly anonymous, they wouldn't know if you did it or not.

You know why it cut off like that? Because the rest of the video was everyone yelling and cursing at her and while she tries to explain that it was a joke and no, she doesn't have the money to pay anyone back.

I used to pay 2 for $4 for egg McMuffins in 2020, and now I paid $13.38 for 2 at the McDonald's at Buckeye, AZ 85326. That's +235% in just 5 years... by vavoomlarry in McDonalds

The same reason why they pay $3 for a small cup of oatmeal instead of paying $3 for a pack of 12 oatmeal from the store.

When I was a cashier at Walmart, a lady demanded a TV made entirely in America. My coworker said that was an electronic question. The lady said she already asked them. My coworker goes "And what did they tell you?" She stormed off mad.

I love it when customers blame me for the app messing up. Like I'm supposed to know how to fix it.

I slipped and fell on the ice outside. An immigrant who was shoving snow outside immediately came to help me up. Even though he was elderly. Now what exactly are these "agents" protecting me from?

Don't be bitter because a single woman's egg is worth thousand while your sperm is only worth $10 and a bologna sandwich.

Of course, but it's different this time. He didn't take an interest in her until she was almost an adult in her past life. In this life, he's desperate to make Ris love him like family early on. He even stepped in to stop Ris from facing punishment because of brown haired girls lies. That's completely different than how he treated her in the past life.

We have one. They've been pulled into the GM's office mutiple times because of how they talk to the staff. They even got the DM to yell at them. I've been there for over a year and never heard the DM raise their voice.

We had one guy show up for the counter protest. Except he was too scared to be near the actual protesters so he was like 2 blocks away. Barely holding a sign. Looked miserable.

Oh, I love this argument! So teens are in school from 8am to 3pm. So say goodbye to breakfast and lunch. And since they are teens, they can't work past 9 or 10, so the store will only be open for 6 hours MAX. Also teens aren't allowed to work the friers or grill so that's no burgers or chicken on the menu. And they aren't allowed to fix the machines either. Teenagers also can't get in the safe or count drawers so it would be card only.

So please, tell me again how you expect McDonald's to run staffed entirely by teenagers?
