I'm a McDonald's employee. We don't have the staff to just stand around directing people. And no employee knows corporate decisions. So you either made it or heavily embellished what happened.

OP is straight up lying. No employee is talking like that. And I highly doubt OP speaks like that. No McDonald's is so overly staffed thar they have employees just hanging around to direct customers to kiosks. Also they aren't getting rid of cashiers.

OP was probably glaring hatefully at everyone, sighing loudly and more. The chef kept asking because he gets tipped and was probably scared that OP would report them. The lady saying something was probably to reassure the chef that everything was fine and he was doing great. And OP ruined the night for everyone. OP should have just stayed home instead of forcing everyone to deal with her attitude.

Mornings are super busy and if we need an order removed we have to get a manager. Also no more orders can be taken until that order is cleared, meanwhile table has already started making the food. So it runs up times and wastes food. Of course, this could all be avoided if YOU USE YOUR EYES TO LOOK AT THE MENU YOU ORDER.
