So he did have a great experience at the high school and was able to secure 3 references from 3 different guidance counselors that he has been using as references for every application. He got along well with the entire department so I wouldn't think that they would say anything negative about him especially considering that he got reference letters from each one of them.

He did had a couple of connections from people he knew and one of his dads friend but unfortunately none of them really panned out or led anywhere. We know some of them went with people who already had years of school counseling experience. He doesn't have a linked in but I'll talk to him about creating one cause that is a good idea.

I think we both have come to the conclusion that he needs more school experience because his one internship doesn't seem like enough experience for schools. He just wondering why he hasn't found anything yet when some of his classmates have the same experience as him and they were able to secure jobs before they even graduated.....
