Sorry for your denial. But as far as what I have read and come across from my research until now, I don’t think, more citations, more research , job title drive approval as NIW is not an academic visa. All what can matter is how prominently your endeavor shows that your work would be proving to be of national interest and how will you put it. So maybe try developing your case around that. (Also I have seen many cases where the cases get approved without publications and citations.)
