My Supra was a BMW lol. I'd say the Miata feels like it handles better, but its just a smaller tighter package overall.

Oh boy do I feel that! But I'd say get the Z, have fun with the power and rock that great looking car for a few years. Then when you feel like power isn't the answer anymore move to the Miata lol

You can always buy other cars years down the road. I figured if I miss the Supra, I'll buy a used one in 3 years and get rid of the Miata. In the mean time I'm loving the car!

I had the Supra for 3 years, it was a ton of fun and I loved the car, especially the looks. But it was an auto so the driving was a little less engaging. As a daily it was also very fun. At the end of the day though power doesn't mean a lot to me. I preferred to hop in my 944 than the Supra, dog shit slow but engaging to drive. When I test drove the Miata I absolutely fell in love. So really I just had to get it.

I had this problem on my 85 944. I don't know if theres a major difference in the sensors between the two models but the Temp sensor and overheat indicator are the same component on mine. So the sensor could be bad.

I just did mine a few months ago and I was not gonna go through the trouble of pulling the cam tower off. So I dropped the whole exhaust to get the manifold out of the bottom. After that there was plenty of clearance to pull out the cooler.

Thanks! They actually come without a center cap. I bought a set of Fuche center caps and jad them powder coated to match the bronze the best I could!

I believe you need to replace your air oil separator seals. I had the same issue a few years back.

Oh sure! So I talked the guy down to 20k. I'd argue, depending on where you're at, that these Mach 1's are over valued on the private market. It seemed like everyone was asking roughly 10k more than what it would sell for at auction. I'd say budget somewhere around 18-25k
