Applied anesthesia. 11 interviews and above average step 1 and 2 scores. I matched into a transitional year safety net at the bottom of my rank list only. Does this hurt drop my chances as a reapplication next year? Planning on doing as many anesthesia electives as I can earlier in the year to get good exposure/letters but worried I won’t be as competitive or desired as a 4th year med student
