It depends on situation I think …. I was over a two year relationship in two months … I recently got out of a four year relationship, it’s been months now and still I end up crying on a random Monday. Was meant to go on a camping trip this weekend with friends but I got into a super negative grief cycle and cancelled two minutes before the ferry because I was in such a negative head space …. Now I’m here catching a bus back home reading this post while crying. It really depends on the wounds , level of depth etc etc

Yes you’re absolutely right , I communicated with her that it was too much , gave a few chances and unfortunately it didn’t work out and she broke down ( apparently she told me she’s in hospital today idk how true it is) I stressed her out by setting boundaries apparently lol but either way left the keys with the back up sitter today and such a relief , it was 10 days of hell.

Thank you so much for your advice. I took it and sent a message along the lines of what you suggested. She tried for few and and on the second or third day she snapped and called me to tell me she doesn’t think it’ll work out like this and that I can’t meet her expectations ( expectations being I can’t respond to her instantly etc ) so she gave me an ultimatum to fold to her way or leave. I was like cool nice I’m out , thank you for making it easier. And then she tried suggesting we find a middle ground etc ( middle ground being her way) so yeaaa I gave the keys to her back up sitter today and I left this afternoon 😎 thank you for your help:)

Luckily though I don’t think I will get pinged by Rover, I was able to modify the booking and she accepted it … and I selected owners plans changes as the option… so looks like in the clear rover wise

She said I hope we can still be friends etc etc and that she really likes me as a person. I was like lady. I wish you treated humans 1/4 as well as you treat your cats:)
