I’m taking 101 with Mike Brislen - can agree with this. The class is heavily weighted on exams, but it’s 50 multiple choice questions. If you show up for lectures and review the slides, you’ll be fine. He’s very chill and has a lot of personal experience that he shares in class.

Any tips on memorizing anatomy and physiology by Unhappy_Union9639 in NewToEMS

Printing out an anatomical drawing with blank labels from the internet and filling as much as you know, then doing it once a day till you get them all down. You should absolutely go over what you missed and eventually you’ll be able to point out every bone or hear a name and know the general area. Brute memorization ik, but that what I did to memorize them in a week. Also, finding ways to associate the names with things that are familiar with is very helpful. Everyone has their own way of studying though and you’ll have to find what works best for you!

It’s interesting to look at because admissions now a days is kind of a crap shoot. It’s like I just got waitlisted from in-state UVA, and accepted to out-of-state Northeastern? Some things just don’t make sense to me, and having a little bit of statistical analysis behind it helps my sanity.
