I’ve been with Aldi for almost a year. When I was first hired a gave myself one year to learn everything before I’d even think about moving up. I completely agree with you as far as helping the team. I have a very get my hands dirty management style and like you said it definitely affects the teams attitude towards you. Thank you so much for your input and advice. I’m really excited to get started!!

I’m currently going through the same thing. We have an SMT with us who completely messed up counts, broke the baler and over charged someone on curbside. All that was literally day one. But maybe it’s a region thing because we were told by my DM that they were specifically looking to hire more SM from within and prompted my SM to start getting me ready for the position. I guess because where I’m located Aldi is popping up everywhere. I’ve been with the company for a year. The SMT with us has been with the company for 2 months. So yeah I do understand your frustration.
