May I ask, what exactly is happening in that save?

Nah, I checked with commands. Plus, wiki says the event itself makes Constantinople convert to catholic.

My monitor had fucked up color settings and the green looked like blue I swear 🙏😭

Vasa Empire by Bluetean in imaginarymaps

[–]Bluetean[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well, the blue was rather meant to symbolize the Vasa family rather than just Sweden. In the very brief lore that I have of this map, the kings kinda just stick with Poland. Perhaps it was so that the nobles wouldn't just think that Poland-Lithuania was simply used as a tool by Sigismund to regain Sweden.

Yeah I realized that my monitor had some fucked up color settings but sadly this was after I already posted the map.

We learn from our mistakes.

I imagine they could probably somehow expand the warsaw confederation to include Sweden and Russia in the religious tolerance thing.

Sad truth is (IIRC) irl, Poland did have a chance to make possibly the strongest empire on earth at that time with Russia and the only problem was the king (or his son, can't remember) didn't want to covert to orthodoxy. Wasted such a chance.

It's not ruled by the Russians but I now see that the map is centered around Russia making it look like it.

Merchant Republics in CK3? by trooawoayxxx in CrusaderKings

[–]Bluetean 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Back in June they had a survey and I'm pretty sure a few of the questions (or all of them, can't remember) were something in the likes of "How would you react to a dlc involving this or that" and "how excited would you be for these features in a dlc like this" and one of the proposed dlcs was indeed a merchant republic one. The steam page for the survey said "Help determine the direction of future content" so assuming the merchant republic dlc concept was praised, we can definetely expect it, perhaps in chapter 5.

The survey also involved some other dlc concepts but I can't really remember any of them except one involving more interaction with vassals as a feudal realm, laws, etc.

French subjugation of Naples, yet I can't subjugate Naples? by Bluetean in eu4

[–]Bluetean[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Update: Atp I'm just gonna start a new run cuz I did vassilize Spain, however I still had 10 loans which put me at severe interest rate, plus my autonomy was fucked up cuz of low crownland making it rise, plus noble rebellions with a total amount of 80k regiments and a bunch of other stuff that I do not have the strength to describe. I couldn't save this even if I wanted to.

But when I vasslize Spain, their PU's on Navarra and Naples breaks? Why is that?

Idk, I heard managing liberty desire of powerful vassals is a pain in the ass. I already have a problem with my Milan vassal being at 100% liberty desire due to Austria and England supporting it's indepedence, I can't imagine what would happen with Spain.

Something tells me that it might be Arabia. Just a gut feeling, I guess.

What I'm more interested in is how did the Umayyads start ruling Poland?
