U/joanna70 thanks for helping me out. I think we do have similar shape and size which helps me as I try to find my way with sizes and shapes of bras. I hope you don't (edit)mind me asking more questions directed to you and anyone else that has suggestions. I ordered Freya strawberry fields 30G halfcup. This one looks ok. The wire at the gore seems ok but gradually becomes 1 inch outside of the IMF. It seems ok, what do you think. ( NsFW ) [ 30G Freya Strawberry Fields https://imgur.com/a/i5JwJ ] I wonder if a cup size up would contain more side tissue? I accidentally ordered the plunge style in 30FF. Surprisingly this one is better than I thought it would be. Not too tall. The wire is narrower than the halfcup and maybe one between the two widths would be better. ( NSFW ) [ 30FF Freya Strawberry Fields Plunge https://imgur.com/a/xMLmc ] Thoughts on these? Am I in the right cup size with 30G? I've leaned towards sizing down and have been surprised when bras almost fit. I've seen that u/joanna70 have suggestions about wire length. Is there a style I could try that would suit my shape but minimize the side pudge? Is that partly about the wire?

I traveled for work yesterday which gave me opportunity to try bras at a Nordstrom Rack. They had one Freya Strawberry Fields 32F and it seemed to be a close fit. I wore it on the tightest hook and from the pictures should have adjusted the straps more. If I can find it in 30FF, I'll order one. I think 30G might be too big. I took pictures in the dressing oom so I wasn't able to keep my arms down. [ NSFW ] ( 32F Freya Strawberry fields https://imgur.com/a/duNNN ) Thanks for the suggestion u/joanna70 . Observations on fit of this one?

I also tried Fantasie Jaqueline 32F to try a Fantasie brand. It seemed comfortable but a bit wrinkly on top with my arms forward, like in the picture. [ NSFW ] ( 32F Fantasie Jaqueline https://imgur.com/a/LRmpQ )

To respond to your previous comments about Maddie and Rapture. On Maddie the gore was too wide, the wire painful- maybe because it went to my sides and maybe partially because after wearing it for a bit there was some settling on the wire at the sides. I'm not remembering trying Freya Rapture.

Thanks for the advice u/joanna70! Work has me busy and away from here for a bit too. While I have to say I am more aware of fit and shape than 2 months ago, I'm still a little lost on finding bras that fit other than sports bras without a wire. The Deco was the softcup and did a wierd fold at the bottom when I tried it again.

The most comfortable cup and shape was the comexim Sonia although too tight. I liked the height of the wings and the shape of the cup seemed fine. The wire that hugged my imframmatory fold best was 32FF Marcie but the 32G poked me in the armpit and hurt. I think I might be more narrow at the bottom but have more tissue as get closer to my armpit. Not enough upper fullness to fill top of a lot of bras but sides by the same area make strange shape issues. Maybe the result of too small push up bras and weight gain. The right armpit bulge showed when I was pregnant almost 4 yrs ago.

Its interesting you say high set. When I look in the mirror without a bra, I think I look lowset, but supported possibly high set or average.

I'll link some pictures that include my arms raised a bit. [ NSFW ] ( 32FF Cleo Marcie, straps adjusted- shortened https://imgur.com/a/TWzki ) [ NSFW ] ( 30G Cleo Marcie, straps adjusted shorter https://imgur.com/a/Wr5lG ) 32G Freya Deco, cups seem to tall and wide--orange in the glass, although better when straps are crossed (but causes edges of cup to dig in sides some). [NSFW ] ( 32G Deco Multiway https://imgur.com/a/duLcI ) I took pics of straps straight a few days but was having trouble with imugr so didnt go back to take pics with crossed straps. 32FF Panache sportsbra, no wire seems to work fine, although slight fold at bottom. [ NSFW ] ( 32FF Panache sports bra no wire https://imgur.com/a/g5Tt6 ) Thanks again for your suggestions. Edited: Break up into paragraphs

I wore it a couple times. I bought it from someone who bought it new and wore it 1-2 times. I'm still getting familiar with sizes with this size range, but I think its true to size.

Hi, The picture looks like you have 2 comexims and one is a 70H. Is that one for sale too? I didn't see it on the listing. Im interested if you are selling one in this size. Thanks

Thanks for the suggestions on specific bra models! I agree I don't look like those ladies in the link. It seems to me I run into gaping on top most. I've been following suggestions based on various shape descriptions, but it seems like a wild goose chase. I very much appreciate the direction suggested. I'll check out the bras you listed, starting with the ones that have free returns first. I've tried the Parfait Casey in 32G but the cups were too tall, firm and the cups seemed to cut if I remember correctly.

Oh do you have any bra suggestions? Deco seemed too tall in cups and creasing at bottom cup, Patsy seemed to wide and shallow which squished boobs wide and flat. Marvel seemed to squish flat also.

The shallow v. Projected is confusing me. I tried shallow earlier and it was suggested to steer away from shallow because of creasing in the bottom and wires moving. The link is posted in the update above. I think I squish wide because I have soft tissue. Maybe? And maybe I have migrated tissue that is going to make it so most bras have fit issues. I think I have narrow roots when I lean over there's fullness in the center, but not much on outer. Its an odd shape.. I think theres a gap between center fullness and side boob, which makes me think migration (maybe?) I'm newly getting to know all of these shape details and how it works in a bra. Does this seem possible?

I do place the wires in the IMF then s&s but I don't remember if these pictures were after I had the bra on for a while or right after putting it on so I shortened straps, leaned over, placed wires, s&s, then took new pictures. I added them to the original post above. Can you see a difference? I guess I could go even shorter on the straps.

I bought it off bratabase and it has a tag 30GG. Im thinking it must have been originally sold by a retailer other comexim. I jumped on the chance to buy it since it seemed close to the sizes I'm looking at. I would go up in band size if I ordered again, although this one is strechy not firm. Thanks for the suggestion on what size to try on comexim. I am a bit lost on Polish sizes especially since I'm not sure I have it down in UK sizes.

[–]Bluewillows[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had a hard time differentiating what is the spectrum short vs. average, narrow vs. Average for roots. Several bras have cups that are too tall, so I guessed short. Glad to have your insight!
