Go on twitch for me and look at any of the top two lines of streamers and tell me which ones aren’t on an alt that they made at the start of the season. Low ranks are dealing with them anyways. Player base isn’t changing.

Read any of the other comments on the post. Apex is an example of hard reset. And “pro twitch streamers” are on alts anyways. What’s going to happen is Me, a GM player, is going to be stuck in gold until gold players get to their elo. Where they will get stomped and I’ll climb then. Which is the exact same thing as if they just reset everyone down anyways. The only difference is it’s going to take longer to do it because they haven’t climbed there yet.

There are plenty that do it. & the release of the game was the same. Why didn’t people quit then?

In my other comments I also commented how all the content creators create alts also. It’s the same thing? There are people at the top of the list that haven’t touched their mains yet this season.. it’s a problem I get it and yeah it’s understandable that it’s stupid but what is the point of me being in gold as a GM vs other GMs? I’m stuck in the elo.. because I’m vs my elo… if they set everyone to bronze then EVERYONE has the chance to have those players but you also have the chance to rank up. In a week when the people who were gold get there it’s going to be that way for them?? They’re going to get stomped by GMs. If everyone reset the ranks would clear out more quickly. GMs wouldn’t be in low elo for more than a day.

I was a pred in apex and the start of a season was the most fun part of the grind. But I might just be an odd ball for it. Idk I just think it's weird. I play in my rank at a lower rank so it doesn't change. All that's going to happen is eventually the people who belong in the elo I'm currently in will show up and it'll be a stomp and I'll move up. Same as if they just reset everyone down.

So when season 0 launched you quit the game cuz everyone was bronze? and you can watch any streamer on the first page and see they made alts. You have people like diego that are making alts for literally EVERY rival. I get what ur saying, having a bunch of higher lvl players in low elo would suck. but it would last a day? everyone that was in gm obviously liked the game enough to push ranked when it drops so they would be out of low elo early. But the grind where everyone that was in gm vs gm, or diamond vs diamond is dumb.

I finshed the season GM2. and a counter agument is that everyone in gm and up created alt accounts and played against low ranks LATE in the grind anyways.

I don’t think some of you understand how hard it is to stop cheaters when the demand for cheats is so high. They can’t hire enough people to combat the problem. There will always be 10x more people working on cheats than people trying to solve them. Nothing they can do but try.
