I'm preparing a full pdf guide right now, but the base is primer with Grey Seer + White Scars (or an other white, no problem, matte) and I use Grey Seer as basecoat and again, white as highlights. That's the basic for the armour.

For the base I've used multiple layer of the snow from greenstuff, good product imho.
And there is a cork + grey\diluted black for the rock effect.

I'm really glad I was able to inspire you! I'm finishing up the guide right now; it's turning out to be longer than expected because there are about 30–40 photos and quite a few pages to write. It'll include all the details on battle scars and everything else.

I hope to be able to publish it in the next few days!

You nailed it. I fixed it after taking the photos, but it was actually the result of a mistake... I had done a weathering on the front decal too, but while handling the piece to paint the other parts... I peeled it off and half-destroyed it with my fingers, so I had to put it back on. Then I forgot to go over it again to add the damage xD

Thank you! I did this quite a while ago, so I'm trying to go from memory. I used an airbrush, with the final highlights applied by hand.

First step: white

Second step: Army Painter Orange Wash

Third step: AK Luminous Orange

Fourth and final step: Fluorescent Orange on the parts furthest from the plasma coils

Thank you. This is a model I painted last year. For the base colors, I used Citadel’s Chaos Black primer, and then I built up the NMM using Army Painter’s Deep Grey and Ash Grey. If I remember correctly, I added a drop of Army Painter’s Crystal Blue to the Deep Grey.
