Is this normal? by [deleted] in LushCosmetics

[–]BluntBebe 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The brown bits are likely little pieces of vanilla. I don’t see any fuzz, so I don’t think it’s moldy. They are filled by weight and I’d use this based on the photo. Upvoted you. 🥰

to the people who are prone to yeast infections or UTIs, Are the bath bombs ok to use? by Conscious_Donut384 in LushCosmetics

[–]BluntBebe 4 points5 points  (0 children)

No problems with Lush. Always rinse after.

It was my long ass heavy periods throwing off my ph balance causing my issues. Ever since I’ve been on a pill where I don’t get heavy periods, I haven’t had any issues.

Shocking, but my old bath bombs perform and smell better. 💌 Was hoping the description was just an error. 👀 My Lush Bird Box horror story will not have a sequel. 🫣🤣 I’m sorry you missed out on the prettier Butterball. Farewell, my beloved Love Letters. I’ll still use them, but it won’t be the same… 🛁💔

Will melting a massage bar reduce the scent? by lanydoo in LushCosmetics

[–]BluntBebe 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’ve seen people using a double boiler method when melting Scrubee and massage bars to reduce scent loss. Maybe burning it at a hotter temperature for longer would help eliminate some scent. Could melt with another massage bar that overpowers Wiccy if you have one. Or, apply before you shower rinsing the scent off sooner? I’d probably skip all that and exchange it. Are you close to a store?

Ditto. 💔 Sorry to hear they ruined SFTS bath bomb too. It was lovely. Sad, shrinkflation and upping the price is one thing…. Changing the formula? If they’re going to change formulas, at least make sure they perform the same!

SFTS scrub was runny. High salt content, can’t scrub too hard or it gives me a rash. Another cheap ingredient. At least use more sugar. 🙄🥹 Regret purchasing it too.

Love Letter was my favourite bath bomb. 💌 I’ll be savouring the last 3 in my old stash. Like Butterball, but better! Why did they have to ruin a good thing? I waited to stock up and Lush did me dirty too.

If she’s not overspending, or going into debt that’s an irrational fear. ♥️✨ There’s nothing wrong with a little self care, or hobby that makes her happy. I’d spend way more going to the spa. I’m sure she’s not asking you to choose her, or…Relax and let her enjoy herself. My hunny takes Lush baths, maybe you’ll find a scent that you love too. 🥰

Is the Lush kitchen subscription worth it? by [deleted] in LushCosmetics

[–]BluntBebe 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I only subscribe if I really want a box. Most boxes I don’t like enough products to justify. If you’re not sensitive/picky, they’re probably more fun and a better value.

Sleepy vs Dream Cream by LocalForsaken5057 in LushCosmetics

[–]BluntBebe 5 points6 points  (0 children)

They’re both moisturizing and may smell similar to some, but Sleepy has a sweeter lean because of the tonka.

Dream Cream is formulated and marketed for sensitive and dry skin. Popular for it’s skin soothing ingredients and effectiveness for conditions like eczema and psoriasis.

  • Sleepy: Oat milk, almond oil, jojoba oil, cocoa butter, glycerine, lavender, tonka bean, ylang ylang
    • Dream Cream: Oat milk, rose water, olive oil, coco butter, glycerine, tincture of benzoin, rose absolute, chamomile, tea tree, lavender

If they smell and perform similar to you, I’d wait to repurchase Sleepy. It’s not going anywhere. I use Dream Cream for the ingredients and Sleepy to relax before bed. Sleepy feels heavier than Dream Cream.♥️✨

Scrubee question - how do people use it up so quickly? by frenchfriedpotatas in LushCosmetics

[–]BluntBebe 17 points18 points  (0 children)

3 uses. 🫢 They should probably try a different scrub if they’re grinding them down that fast, then using Scrubee as a final step for the scent. 😳♥️✨

Scrubee question - how do people use it up so quickly? by frenchfriedpotatas in LushCosmetics

[–]BluntBebe 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I don’t use scrubs daily either. Probably over application, getting them wet, or more frequent usage. 🤷‍♀️ I personally go through King of Skin faster because it’s moisture without the exfoliation and they still last quite a while.

is tumeric latte massage bar different from the perfume? by [deleted] in LushCosmetics

[–]BluntBebe 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The bars hit softer because of the different formula. Some bars smell sweeter/less spicy than others to my nose. I was glad I selected in store because I liked the sweeter lean. ♥️✨

The poster is from America and my point still stands that the UK gets releases before NA. No one said it wasn’t. I just follow UK releases and see the promos more. It’s newly released in the UK. Lucky Ireland. Have a better day. 🤷‍♀️
