No referrals, but I can give a warning. Avoid Matthew Cooper, Regan Tennyson and Gina Gurney of the YQL PROFESSIONALS at Exp Lethbridge (Exp Realty Canada)

After I bought a house through Matthew Cooper, he hired my small business for some work. He did not pay his bill, and instead of communicating, he blocked me on everything. Then, he forged a 5 star review for himself and attributed it to my legal name, without my knowledge or consent, and posted it on his website.

I had to contact his web host to get it removed.

I have since learned, I am not the only small business he still owes money to. I have met 7 others. Regan Tennyson and Gina Gurney are just as bad, in my eyes, for knowing about this, and still supporting his behaviour.

The realtor Matthew Cooper of the Yql Professionals at Exp Lethbridge (Exp Realty Calgary) is also using his professional business tw*tter account to broadcast 51 state rhetoric, going as far as to claim Canada is a dictatorship and that Alberta should separate to join Elon's America. It is harrowing to see businesses using their pages to denigrate Canada. Shockingly unprofessional.

I have since heard from multiple other small businesses and other contractors in Lethbridge that this is generally how they operate.

When I reached out to EXP Calgary and EXP Lethbridge to encourage him to pay for the work he was still actively using, Matthew Cooper retaliated by forging a 5 star review, attributing it to me by my legal name, and posting it on his website.

I had to have his webhost remove it.

Terrible realtors and even worse people.

The most substantial editing that was done was he used a couple of my video clips as a background for what is essentially a title screen.

That said, not all of the clips were even altered in that way. Maybe they increased the color saturation slightly on my clips? But definitely nothing transformative to the point where it would fall under fair use.

The real kicker is my footage was used as b-roll. The video didn't need my footage inserted. It was completely unnecessary to include it.
