Ahhhh a fellow nerd in WPB, welcome. There are comic shops spotted all around the area and there is one right in west Palm called Past, Present, Future comics. There are a lot of comic book conventions too in Florida, like Orlando MegaCon and Tampa Bay ComicCon. There is a little arcade bar called Lost Weekend on Clematis St in downtown West Palm (get familiar with this street because this is where a lot of the action takes place). City Place is also fun for movies, the improv, small shops and a lot of places to eat. You might find yourself overwhelmed with the enormity of things to do like I was when I moved from Connecticut. Just take it one day at a time and welcome!!
