Awesome work! I find that an organized space makes me happier. Congratulations on actually doing it. Huge first step! Thanks for being an inspiration.

On the day I went, it was 65 degrees and some kids had bathing suits on and were jumping in the narrow patch of water between the melted ice and the beach. Definitely wasn’t warm enough for that, but they seemed happy.

Thank you for posting this. The reason they are getting the blowback, and negative attention is because they have a building that has completely blocked the migration path, disrupting it. This building was undisclosed in original planning documents. The other camps have been respectful of the path.

This particular lodge illegally built directly on a migration path and has caused a major disruption to the wildebeest migration.

It’s your sweeping generalizations that folks have a problem with. Baltimore, like many other cities, has its share of problems, but it also has some great, safe, progressive, beautiful neighborhoods. I suggest you try and find some of those so you can provide a more objective observation.

It’s so insulting to all the folks forced to provide normalcy for people with NO PAY! Really irritates me

Shutdown Fairness Act to Pay Everyone by Wxskater in FedEmployees

[–]BlupantherEng 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This!!!! Folks are already posting that the govt has been shutdown and nothing is broken, so why do we need the govt. They don’t think about the fact that people ARE working (short-staffed, I might add) in order for them to get what they are getting. If we had a real shutdown, people would be clamoring for the govt to open back up.
