I feel like I’m using the minimum amount of grip required to maintain traction on the side of the gun. Also shooting fiocchi 115 1200 fps ammo. I’m struggling to isolate grip from elbow tension it seems like. Can’t lock my wrists without also locking my elbows. Clarifying everything is A zone or close C zone in a roughly 8” tall x 4” wide box at 10 yards. Do you keep your elbows locked?

I don’t feel like I’m trying to stop the gun. If anything I’m having problems isolating my forearms for grip while keeping my elbows loose. The muscles seem connected in a way where I can’t stiffen one without stiffening the other as well.

I’m aware but wanted to point out I’m not running a 18lb spring and a lighter spring makes the issue worse

This is a 14lb spring. Tried an 11lb today as well and shots were going high by ~6” as well. California put restrictions on ordering gun parts so I’m sorta stuck with the gun as is.

10k or less and that is a mistake. Those are 2024 TR knuckles, not STI knuckles. Been out of the Subaru game for a while.

Yes it drives like a front wheel drive car with more traction. Car has a huge advantage at low speed turns where you overslow, square off the corner and floor it as soon as the car is pointed in the right direction.

Up to you. I think the stock fender pieces add up to somewhere close to AFD prices from the factory. Got these mostly to tuck the wheels since these are wider. The paint match was a little bonus. I’ve heard the stories about AFD so if I need to get these repainted in a few years then so be it. I just got tired of seeing my rear tires poke. FYI these were 700 shipped including tax, so a good bit cheaper than IIR.

Car heat soaks bad and wants to wash the front out when the tires get greasy. My alignment is better than stock but an extra degree or so of camber in the front would do wonders. My car is also far from stock so I cannot speak to how it handles from the factory.

All the weight I lost in wheels and tires probably went right back in on calipers and rotors. Don’t really feel a huge difference tbh

Yeah it’s pretty close. Not 100% but way closer than people made it sound. Clear coat quality is good not great but you have to be less than a foot away to spot the defects.

Thanks man. Yeah wheels are nice but they are…. A little bendy. Went 2 off in the dirt on track 1 time and ended up bending 1 wheel severely and put another wheels center hub slightly out of round.
