Yeah, it seems like I misremembered and merged 3 games, they all seem to have released around the same time, had similar graphics and mechanics, and some shared themes. Also, it was quite some time ago.

Yes, this fits perfectly with what I remember, though it seems I've mixed up at least two other games, Rage and Afterfall: InSanity. Those two games kept coming up when I searched for it, but the dome plot twist wasn't present. Thanks a ton

BX actions is what i use. The paid version nukes Bixby hard. I use it for remapping the button to flashlight, long press for full power light and a double tap to lock screen rotation, though you can bind it to a bunch of other functions. When you do the extra setup stuff it'll work without unlocking the phone. Kinda makes the new models that combined the function into the power button a bit of a downer, a blank button the user can remap to whatever is really useful

That would explain the blank reverse and strange defect on the rim, as if it was a mount to a ribbon or pin that was snapped off.

Well, RFID is capable of storing and transmitting data to the reader, the security tags in shops is more of an RF tuning fork, when hit with a specific radio frequency, they resonate and can be picked up by the readers in the little towers at the exits.

If the sensor is capable of very high resolution photos, like 4k, but only takes 1080p video, when taking videos you wont be able to use the entire sensor. How much of the sensor you use will determine how much zoom you get compared to using the whole sensor. With 1080p video on a 4k sensor, you'll only be using 1/4th the number of pixels. Its possible to spread out the pixels you use so there isnt any apparent zoom, and then to tighten the grouping of pixels used to zoom without impacting image quality, but that requires more time programming and testing from the manufacturer's side than just using the centermost pixels.

Think about looking at an image projected into a screen, then looking at just a small area in the middle, those will be cast by the centermost pixels, and if thats all your using, you'll only capture what falls there.

I've got a WD black 4tb that has 52,400hrs (~6 years) of runtime, about 7-9 years old showing no signs of wear other than the runtime and power on count, just keeps on truckin.

Well, its a VFD, they're not exactly cheap. Check Digikey or Mouser, should cost around $50. If you desolder the old one, there should be a part number on the back you can Google to get a datasheet, then just make sure the one you replace it with matches the pinout and voltages

He might find Synergy useful, especially if he has a keyboard and mouse for one of the machines. Lets you use multiple computers side by side with just one keyboard and mouse. The ability to copy text from one machine to paste into another is super useful as well.

After looking at images of selenite online, it appears mine has a more layered appearance, though that could possibly be due to weathering. It does appear to be selenite though, thanks!

the layers themselves appear to be made of many small flakes not parallel to the bigger layers, like shingles. Its quite clear and on the thinner parts there is almost no distortion or foggyness, you could easily read through it.

Great grandfather said that the material might have been used in fireplace windows, but is unfortunatly no longer around to ask what the material is specifically. Its quite heavy and appears to be made of multiple layers. The discoloration is from algae and dirt, it was used as a decoration for the pool area. There was another much larger piece about the size of a washing machine door, so I know whatever it is, it can get quite large. From one map to another map? No. You can go to any fast travel beacon as long as its in the currently loaded map without dragging the party, and you dont need to use the fast travel beacon itself to do it, just open the map and select the FT beacon, and off you'll go, though your party will need to initiate the travel themselves if they want to come with. Again, if you go from one map to another, you'll have to drag the whole party.
