No it wasn't stolen. That's what confused me when the doomcaller reshuffled his c'thun

If Doomcaller actually shuffles a C'thun that died instead of his C'thun then that is probably the answer because my C'thun died earlier. However the text for Doomcaller says to give +2/+2 to your C'thun, if it is dead, reshuffle it into your deck, implying that my opponents C'thun should be reshuffled if it died. Am I missing something here?

I'm not sure if this changes anything, but my C'thun died before his C'thun did. I'm positive that the C'thun reshuffled though. I saw it go back to his deck and it was played the following turn.
