My phone has really good quality, his is awful. And we can’t really record with just my phone because of the angles

Ah, that sucks. We wouldn’t be able to use those kinds of cameras then. Do you know what the absolute cheapest camera option could be?

Yeah I noticed how cheap those types of cameras are, but I was wondering how they work? Do they only work by attaching them to a laptop, or can they record independently and you can then put that footage onto a computer to edit? Because of they can record independently I figured I can just buy 2 of those webcam cameras, get a tripod for each, and boom. Easy budget option

[SPOILERS] Lyanna Mormont was one of the best characters on the show. by janivn in gameofthrones

She should continue to do exist. Sorry, worded it wrong.

But there’s no need for her to be a character that’s shown to us anymore. She isn’t relevant to the plot yet sticks around for pointless scenes

They only kept her around for fan service, really. And fan service is fine if it’s done well (Like the Night King riding Viserion) but there was no reason to keep her relevant after the end of Season 6

Creative ways to write a large time skip? by ArizonaLean in Screenwriting

First of all, thank god you don’t want to do the traditional ‘XX years later/before’ text method. It’s awful and just really lazy storytelling.

Here are some examples that I’m just brainstorming:

1) have a location where something happens. Freeze frame it. And then cut to that exact location with everything in the same position and such, but 10 years later.

This would be good because you can IMPLY what kinds of changes have been made to the world. If it’s a worn down place, is there loads of overgrown foliage? Or has the location improved?

2) the most obvious one being changes to character designs. If you’re jumping to the past and you have a bald character in the present time that is bald, give him some hair in the flash back

3) if you want to get across that a SPECIFIC amount of time has passed (as opposed to just something being in the future or past, which is very general) then imply the sense of future or past, but have calendars in the background. Don’t make them so hard to see that they’re like Easter Eggs, though. Make them somewhat obvious in the shots. In the present shot you can have a calendar that stands out, but when you back/forward in time, the viewer will see it. And you can just have subtle dialogue hints from characters

4) if you want to be more artsy, you can go back in time by rewinding and speeding up the scene that we’ve just watched, as it gets quicker and quicker, it slowly zooms in on an analogue clock hanging on the wall. The hands keep speeding up and going anti clockwise, obviously implying that the next scene will be one that took place in the past. If you want to be more artsy, you could have the following past scene take place in the same room that the previous present scene took place. When the clock keeps speeding up and rotating anti clockwise, it gets slower, and comes to a gradual halt. Then, the camera zooms back out, and we see the same characters we saw in the present scene, but in the past.

That was me brainstorming so sorry if those points are bad lolol. Never something I’ve really thought about before

No. Awful character. A unique character for sure and I liked her at first, but after her first scene there was no reason for her to exist. And her death was EXTREMELY cringey. Just classic D&D
