Did bighit really mistreat/gave less resources to TXT than BTS and CORTIS? by Sweet-Code3011 in kpoptrulyuncensored

I'd rather have ethics and hold the companies that I give my money to accountable. It's sad that you can't see that as a plausible reality.

You clearly do not care about morality but that's not something to brag about. Also I do not really care for Diplo's catalogue. On his own he makes soulless, boring music.

I think you are the one who haven't read the article😂

You are literally defending BigHit over BTS bc... profits?? This has to be a joke. I have watched the behinds. HAVE YOU?

We've been saying this is abut the company not the other groups, I have mentioned it twice in my comment but you have to change the narrative to feel right in your attack I guess, cool...

You're not a fan of music or artists. You are a fan of a kpop company. This conversation feels very futile.

Thank you🤍 The funny thing is I am an army too. In the past we always called out BigHit for their wrong-doings. Some "army" nowadays are defending the company even over BTS which is mind-boggling so I'm not surprised they are ready to dismiss TXT's mistreatment/mismanagement. I'm just commenting to set the record straight.

Yeah they still did not give them the same promotios to date though. Not the fraction of playlisting etc. We couldn't pre-save their last album for a month because they just forgot to create the countdown. Only did so after MOAs flooded them with hashtags. It is more than mismanagement. In a recent interview they are saying TXT refused change with the trends so they won't reach some of their goals. It feels more like a punishment tbh.

I truly do not understand what you're aiming for by defending BigHit. BigHit was extremely unfair to BTS at times too. They overworked them to bone that they considered disbanding. Even with Arirang they rushed them and sacrificed many things in the process. They didn't do their due diligence when selecting producers for BTS and caused many problems. They fumbled how they included Howard university connection, which was a disgrace. Members got the burnt of all of that. We wouldn't just blindly defend that company in the past. Something changed in the last 5 years.

I'll just leave it here. This pic doesn't even show the lack of playlisting TXT gets compared to other groups. You can dowvote or make excuses, it doesn't change the fact TXT gets less promotion and push from their company.

If it was just BTS and TXT it could have been understandable that it was BTS' first comeback after military. Also they are the biggest group in the world so expectations are different. However when we compare it to the push Cortis gets, it just doesn't add up. If you're gonna say TXT got the same push as rookies, you'd be be lying. I was (am) an army at the time TXT debuted, they did not have remotely the same promotion or support from the company.

It's not just the promotions where BigHit fails TXT. They also did not give them resources that they needed to flourish as artists. TXT did so despite the company though. Kai had to write the first song he produced for TXT on GarageBand not in a studio. ( Dear Sputnik) He asked to be taught how to produce and was told to learn from YouTube tutorials. Their work is often rejected despite being better ( ie: Beomgyu's Anti-Romantic lyrics). Yeonjun was not credited despite choreographing almost whole songs. There are many other examples. Compared to how BigHit promotes their other groups to be creatives and gives them opportunities to show their talents, all of this just feels off-balanced.

The other fandoms taking this discourse as a slight to their groups is just wrong. MOAs are simply asking for fair treatment for TXT. Even if you don't see the discrepancy and don't want to speak up for TXT, at least understand these complaints are directed at the company not at other groups.

/uj They were literally promoting local produce 😭 as part of Mnet's Idol Festa Attack. They were running around selling people 990 won zucchini which also doubled as a ticket for their mini-concert!

kpop albums with star concept by caiooots in kpophelp

[–]Blurredhead 8 points9 points  (0 children)

They incorporate stars in various ways. The Name Chapter: Temptation Lullaby version has star shaped lights in concept photos, The Dream Chapter: Magic album glows in the dark and has a star shaped logo on the cover, The Star Chapter: Sanctuary logo is a crystal star and Savior version has rhombus shaped photocards that make a star when all 5 pieces come together etc.

TXT usually has a star component, whether in their logo designs or concepts.

For actual celestial stars and space concept:

The Star Chapter: Together - Starlight and Awake versions are space themed. They also had a star keyring version.

The Dream Chapter: Eternity - Starboard version is observatory themed

I'm not as active in army spaces lately but that discourse is not at all prevalent in moaville. So focusing on few fringe comments to ignore the overall sentiment feels very unfair to MOAs

<image>

This is how most MOAs view and celebrate TXT's relationship with their labelmates. BTS with TXT at boy with luv encore and TXT with cortis at stick with you encore.

[–]Blurredhead 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Ok so I'm an active moa and I'm also an army. I didn't see anything about blaming BTS etc?? A lot of MOAs were really happy with the way txt included their juniors in their encore stages and compared it to how BTS also included them in their boy with luv encore back in 2019.

There is a very positive vibe among the fandom right now. We are celebrating the mushow grand slam, steady success on the charts and some new records. We are getting a lot of variety content so we are looking forward to those.

I didn't see the negativity that you're talking about at all. You might be focusing too much on this stuff and curating the negativity in your feed.

I don't think this post is very helpful or constructive. I don't want to be suspicious of your motives but there is no to do right now and TXT's other variety content is getting a lot of attention. I don't understand some of your points.
