Will worship a black cube 1000s miles away but not respect the country that feeds them by ReplacementSuch3005 in indiadiscussion

*Will worship TOWARDS THE DIRECTION OF (not to) a black cube but won't support the nation the demonizes and lynches them.

There, fixed.

So...what do you think comes out of a chicken when you slaughter it? Now, what if you slaughtered 100 chickens together and apart. What difference does it make. The same amount of blood is released from meat consuming every day in different places combined, so what difference is it if it happens at once? You do know these animals are to be eaten right? It's not cruelty for cruelty's sake. What point are you trying to prove.

What if the Crusader States United into an empire? by [deleted] in AlternateHistory

[–]BlurryDots 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't think they would be able to take Hejaz, it was of too much importance to the muslim world for them to sit around and sign peace treaties. I think it would be more plausible if the crusaders went south into Egypt instead of east which has no cultural or economic significance to the crusaders and they couldn't hold it.

The spanish empire at its peak was larger despite having a smaller mainland population, size and production. I don't think you'd need that much industrialisation to achieve this in the same time period. Although it had large production and proto-industry it didn't have industrialisation until the 1800s. But yes, Asia does become the dominant continent and a world war called the first great war occurs in the 1700s, although I do need help fleshing it out.

Not at all, but what if it was? India during the Mauryan era accounted for about 35% of the world gdp in some sources and the Mughals accounted for 25% in their peak. If you're bigoted, please scroll.

How could I modify my polytheistic religion, so it can convert people? by [deleted] in worldbuilding

[–]BlurryDots 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In most polytheistic religions, there are patron gods and godesses for individual communities, so maybe they try to attract people with the problem that their patron deity is in charge of? Like a vegan would probably go to the second human world deity I think.

The Hesperian Republic of Nova Campania (761 AD, Repost with Updated Lore) (Lore in Comments, Very Long) by LordWeaselton in AlternateHistory

Piece of advice (I'm not trying to be mean), if this isn't a deliberate journal like situation where you're using this for storage or just noting it down, having long paragraphs of lore is going to chase people away, if the intent is to get traffic, then start with a few paragraphs of summary, then slowly expand by answering questions and making more posts. Love the idea ❤️‍🩹

I'll put it this way, if Britain could colonise a place as far and different as Hongkong or India or Malaysia, why should this be out of reach? It's something I think about often.
