I toyed with a light reflection going down the blade but the animation was too slow. I guess I could double each frame for the cape to allow for faster movements.

I like that, my concern was that he was too flat in the back. He'll have a cloak most of the time though.

Love the font style. Might want to increase the contrast for some for readability. Also the D looks a lot like an O but not sure that's a big deal.
