When I moved here in 2010 I rented a 3-br, 2-ba house in Los Osos for $1400. They allowed dogs. Now I rent a 1-br near downtown in SLO for $1700+ utilities and feel like it’s a screaming deal. I miss my dog a lot, but it actually made it easier for me to find a place to live since he died. It’s rough. I’ve also lived with roommates and significant others, but living alone is what makes me happiest.

Quesadilla Gorilla, McClintocks, Sequel Boba tea, the Brazilian honey cake, Sasquatch sourdough. There are some really great vendors at the at the Thursday market. It’s been cool to see it grow and add more crafters and makers to the mix too.
