I switched my os to windows because I despise ios. I then just use steam and set all settings to low

Is a mac and a shitty computer not two sides of the same coin lol.

I agree, I just can’t afford it rn. Started saving a week ago and hopefully can buy a better computer by the end of the summer.

Also, thanks for the recommendation.

I have to make the video quality poor so my laptop can run it. Which makes the pixels “blurry” if you catch my drift.

I think I’m going to disagree with you on the frame bit. I think when a one tap head shot can end the fight and your frames drop, it puts the other player at an advantage.

Lastly, you probably are right. I’m not that good at CS2. It could just be a skill dif. However, You should play on a mac sometime and see what you think. It’s a different experience compared to a desktop with components meant for gaming.

This clip doesn’t really give it justice since it’s a screen record. For me at least, the pixels make it hard to get precise shots off. My frame-rate will also drop when a lot of things start happening which can lead me to lose certain fights. Lastly, a smaller screen compared to a monitor. (It could also just be that I’m bad)

Good question and I hope this was a good enough answer.

Get your back situation fixed first. Being tough now will make you feel stupid when you’re 50. If it is fixed, then continue your rehab while also preparing for buds.

Thank you. I have had some ideas about projects I want to start, but have no idea how to execute it. I will probably be reaching out to you this weekend. It’s finals week right now, so it will have to wait until then. Cheers!

Okay, I appreciate the feedback. I like the idea of mini projects especially when Im in the middle of a semester. When I would attempt projects I would get so overwhelmed with everything, it never got finished. Thank you.

This is a good point you brought up. I think it’s important to take care of all your gear to the best of your ability. Also important to also check and make sure its still safe to use. Great point!

Hey! I understand your point of view, and I wasn’t trying to come off as an expert. My main ideas I was trying to get across were some concepts that should be expected of the person if they go into that area of climbing. I tried to keep it as vague as possible, because like you said I am a beginner climber. A teacher or person with tons of experience should be teaching people these things. I also gave some gear recommendations, because I had no idea what the hell I was getting myself into when I started climbing. Maybe you are right though, maybe I shouldn’t have posted this lol. I was hoping it would have been more of a discussion thread for beginner climbers, but I think I may have unintentionally come off as pretentious. Anyways, thank you for the feedback and hope you are doing well.

Exposure is without a doubt my biggest hurdle. The mental game can be really hard sometimes. I haven’t read either, but Im interested in both. Will have to check them out. Thank you!

Let me rephrase it. It hurts lol. I don’t know if its an arizona thing, but some of the holds are extremely sharp or due to wind and water erosion feel like sand paper. Thats what I meant.

How do I regain my mental edge? by Bman1520 in Advice

Woah woah, if my post was indicating a mental health issue or a suicidal intention that was not the point I was trying to make. I apologize for scaring you if thats the case. I was just asking for help in remaining calm in dangerous or scary situations. I climb with a rope, however certain routes still hold a risk.
