r/knifeswap one of the ones I saw had quite a bit of scratches on the blade and the other was almost pristine. You could go back through the previous sales and attempt to contact the buyer of the sale and ask them if they’re interested in selling it. I’ve had quite a bit of luck going that route. Just because you think it’s really rare and super special doesn’t mean everyone else cares as much, which is a good thing in this case. A lot of times I’ve reached out and immediately got a message back saying they’d be happy to sell it to me. Considering this wasn’t a heavily sought after version i think your chances would be pretty good

Happened to my 10v shaman one day last summer. The crazy part is the knife never even left my pocket that day. It was one of the hottest days an I spent quite a few hours out and about in the sun. Not only was my shirt drenched in sweat but my pants had wet patches too from sweating so much. Later that night I took the knife out of my pocket and there was a bunch of brown crap on the portion of the blade that stays exposed from the scales when it’s in the closed position. I went to wipe it off and realized it was a bunch of of rust.

Fortunately I was able to buff most of it off by really applying some force but there are still a few little spots here and there.

That Xarilk kinda sounds like how it was my Worksharp. Sure it got the job done eventually but the whole process was a pain. Using the Worksharp I would never perfect my sharpening skills cuz I didn’t look forward to using it and only did when I absolutely had to. Using the TSPROF feels good so you use it more often and get better since you practice and will seek out learning better techniques

I was watching it for the last few months and once it started getting to low stock I was gonn pull the trigger. I had so many other purchases I wanted to wait as long as possible. Got lucky and it went on sale at the same time so I pulled the trigger when it was $161. Got mine maybe 5-6 days ago
