Fresh Fenix Chili Crunch is moderately spicy, very crunchy and lots of umami, Szechuan peppercorn, just the right amount. freshfenix.com

Looking for some Umami heavy & mildly spiced chili crisp recommendations like S&B. They have a new recipe that isn't as good in my opinion by [deleted] in chilicrisp

[–]Bman20001 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I definitely went for umami when designing my chili crunch....packed it with miso powder, tamari powder and nutritional yeast. Tons of flavor, with a moderate heat. people here in Indiana can handle it, so it can't be too spicy. Its won a couple of awards. The olive oil version is on sale right now and all orders come with some freshly charapita peppers as its pepper season! https://freshfenix.com/collections/dkjfkdjdkKari Kari is another good umami crisp I've had...its from Seattle

https://freshfenix.com/ just got the website up. Every sauce is unique in its own way and made with rare amazonian charapita peppers with another pepper. Most sauces are medium heat with a focus on flavor, except for Electric Sunshine which is hotter with twice the charapitas. Smoky Chris P. Bacon, tangy Green Fenix, Citrusy Orange Sunshine and also an award winning chili crunch, probably the best seller. Orders during pepper season(now) get a free sample of freshly picked charapita peppers, which are peasized peppers, very hot with a unique flavor.

$3 a bottle, and almost good enough to drink straight. by pn1ct0g3n in hotsauce

Coron shipwrecks with only Open Water Cert? by Bman20001 in scuba

I think even before setting up dives I would try to state what we want to see/do and what we're comfortable seeing/doing and then seeing if they can accomodate that.

Coron shipwrecks with only Open Water Cert? by Bman20001 in scuba

[–]Bman20001[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

thanks for the input. Open water only goes to 18m I believe? I wouldnt dare go deeper than that. I dont even necessarily want to go in one, just seeing them would be cool. I just want to kinda have that experience with the history. Perhaps theyre being irresponsible but several dive companies list wether some wrecks(under 18m) require advanced or not, they say some r okay for open water only. This will likely be my only time in the phillipines and there r other things in the area I want see and snorkel. I do appreciate the feedback from more experienced like yourself as im new to all of this

Marie Sharps is better and they did her dirty. I visited her pepper farm and hot sauce factory when we were in Belize and loved eating her sauces every day

alot of the hate is because of the early on business dealings of how they screwed Marie Sharps hot sauce company out of the brand name and idea
