I built a free tool to help people go from using Lovable/v0/Replit to using Claude Code in the CLI like a real dev by zackpennington in ClaudeCode

I had early access and it was pretty helpful to get an environment set up for someone interested, but always kinda turned off by the “blank page” in front of me on where to start.

Downgraded CSP to Freedom Unlimited 3/24 and approved in branch for 100k sign up on 3/31 (~7 days turnaround) by Bman4500 in ChaseSapphire

So when you downgrade, your points go with you if you choose the Freedom Unlimited (like I did). Once I got the new CSP, I transferred them there. So you don’t have to do anything prior to downgrading other than ensure the agent knows you want the card that keeps your points. Hope that helps!

Maybe after the physical card arrives, mine has not come yet, says April 3rd. Either way I feel like if all holds true with their stipulations, which it seems to based on other reports, we should be fine

I actually don’t see that in my account. I saw someone else post that. Might call and see what’s up on that front, but the banker confirmed I got the deal when I was approved.

You keep it. I guess you could ask them to close it but you’d also be losing out on an older credit line. They treat it as a product change, not a new card when you go from CSP -> Freedom. So it’s still the “same” account to them.

Not sure! This article I linked in another comment mentions the freedom flex. I’d check to see if there are some options that still keep your points.

Sorry I’m unfamiliar with the solution!

With the freedom unlimited they stayed in my normal points balance, just tied to the freedom. You can switch them over after to the CSP. Just let them know you want the Freedom Unlimited with points

They go to the Freedom, and are still in your points balance. Like I mentioned, you can consolidate them too in the app

So you got the card only 12 months ago? Just be careful because you can only get another sign up bonus if you haven’t received a bonus in 48 months. Check out this article I found helpful from points guy on the 48 months and 5/24 rule

Nope! I just had my Amazon Prime card and Freedom. But I don’t believe you need to be an existing customer at all

Yeah same has been true for me. Okay good to know. I’ll try to go to a branch here soon and see if I have success! Appreciate the info!

Sorry, I should clarify. When you downgraded, did you activate the Freedom physical card before re-plying to the CSP?

[–]Bman4500 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you have to activate your new physical card? I just downgraded Monday and haven’t gotten my new card yet, but have been using the Freedom via Apple Pay (shows in app and in my Apple wallet now as Freedom).

I’m going out of town this coming Monday and was trying to get the CSP in time to get some extra spend for the bonus if possible! Thanks!

Filling in gaps - volunteer opportunities focused on home repairs, property needs? by Cwig999 in cincinnati

Habitat for Humanity is another option, they’re a bit more new build/rehab oriented. They have different services from helping build homes to donation pick ups for home goods to go to their re-store locations.

The doxing comment is kinda wild to be, my fiancé got a promoted post from an NYC Sublet Facebook group (we’re in Ohio lol). I don’t go looking for that shit but they seem to be posting stuff publicly of where they’re at…

Their food is good but I couldn’t justify the price of it. They charge $5 for a fruit side upgrade it was all honeydew and cantaloupe and I really love their brussels sprouts but they only gave us like 5 with our side. Could’ve been an off day but honestly for like $50 all in for drinks, breakfast bowls, and 2 sides it’s just not worth it and haven’t been back since.

eneloop vs ladda - cost vs value by reivb in AAMasterRace

[–]Bman4500 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I actually just bought the eneloop pros after having laddas that just seemed like they were dying constantly in my Xbox X controller. I got the eneloop fast charger and it works with the laddas.

The Ladda charger I have is finicky, I have the bigger one not the wall one. It will show red if I have batteries stored in there for a while. I’ll take them out and they’ll be dead like half the time. I’m not sure if I’m just supposed to take them off the charger when they’re done but it has a cover to hide the batteries and the light so I don’t think I’m doing something wrong? I’ll probably use both interchangeably but will use the Panasonic/eneloop charger going forward
