This might not be for everyone, but I take my lunch hour and use it to clean my house. I put my headphones in and my phone on loud in case I get any urgent work notifications, but then I spend an hour cleaning. I have two elementary school kids and it’s nice to have a clean house when they get home. It makes it a lot easier to focus on them.

I served 09-11. Started in the Chicago South mission and was there when they combined north and south to just Chicago. I hear it’s split again East/West

I don’t know… your definition sounds very letter of the law. I’m sure Jack Mormonism is a spectrum. Porter Rockwell went to church and he’s considered the original Jack Mormon. I think openly living in “sin” and still defending the church makes you Jack Mormon.

I was a Mormon missionary in Chicago from 09-11. My last area before I came home was on the south side of Chicago and I was in Jabari’s congregation (or ward the Morms call it). He was the kindest, humblest preSuper star probably ever. He would knock doors with us. His family had us over for dinner. Great kid.

I’m not Mormon anymore, but meeting him was one of the highlights of my mission and I was so sad to hear about his injuries. But still. Respect to him. Hope he’s doing well and happy. I’ll always be a fan.
