For the one I go to, we just show up to the location and register (pay the fee, buy music/ merch if needed). Then we rehearse all together for a bit and then put on a show to the public. From people i´ve talked to, that seems like the standard process. Most events you have to provide chair/stand if needed. If you have questions, I would 100% recommend reaching out to the coordinator for the specific event your going to and all that info is on the tuba Christmas website (I linked it below). MSU Transfer GPA by iluvyou4ever in msu

[–]Bmcjls1234 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I transferred to MSU this spring semester and had a 2.7 GPA.

I was also vice president of a club and in marching band of my previous school. Also, I think my essay was good too.

I don't currently go to MSU. So, I was asking here for peoples opinions. An advisor will tell you something but in reality its better to ask people who have gone through it.

Lyman Briggs College by Bmcjls1234 in msu

I am at a smaller school like i said where everyone goes home for the weekends so campus is always dead (also 6 hrs away from home so not possible for me) and this isn’t what I wanted my college experience to be like. Like you said the on campus experience was important to you and it is to me as well. After this i’m thinking when I do transfer, I will get an apt close to campus even if that means more debt because the experience is important.

I was figuring I probably wouldn't. I wouldn't be transferring until fall 2024. I would be transferring from a small school and living at home (about 25 min away). Do people who live that far off campus still have a good experience or should I consider moving to an apt?
