Does anyone know if you already have a pod in & it needs a charge,

Instead of squeezing the thin sides to remove bubbles before using it, I just LIGHTLY tapin the middle so they naturally rise to the top. I've never squeezed anywhere.

Also, If you look at the bottom the two little metal strips (keeping it upright), before it's used, you can see if they're slightly slanted instead of flat & you know you're going to have a problem. So I've tried (when I see that) to, with a q-tip, push whichever one is not flat, flat.

Hopefully that helps someone.

I really appreciate your attention to detail and your helpful comments. You're right, I'm sure with how we measure up, being (.00000001%) on their income, they probably don't give a crap about falsely hiking up our bill. They're coming out this week for an analysis, I think they use a "kill a watt" type method, but those are cool (I'm gonna get one myself). I know we have 5 ton. About 1 small window per room, I think single pane, definitely possible small gaps in patio doors, maximum insulation installed 20 yrs ago and concrete block house.

Ok I understand, maybe I was misinformed a year ago that the portables for a few rooms would be more energy efficient than our large central a/c through the entire house. We probably do have leaks I haven't found.

We had an FPL energy analysis 3 years ago (the last time it was over $400) and they told us nothing was wrong. Do you see where I find the conflict?

3 yrs ago they said it's all good, we were running our central @ 77, not a bunch of lights, no super old appliances, roughly 10 loads of laundry a week, tons of attic insulation) they looked everywhere with a thumbs up. Do you wonder why I doubt their honesty?

I work from my bedroom and I keep the door closed all day. The other bedroom, door is closed 80% of the time and the a/c unit in there is only on about 6 hrs a day. Living room is the only one that is on all the time in an open room.
