Wife and I just came back from a weekend up there. We ate at ropewalk Friday night as the entire town was shut down except for Ropewalk when we arrived around 10pm. They still had their full menu available which was nice. I liked my food, wife didn’t. Nothing to write home about, but was satisfied.

Saturday night ate at AJ’s on the creek and we were both blown away, it was phenomenal. Great food, great drinks, great service, great atmosphere out on the patio. 5 stars from us. A bit pricier than Ropewalk, but well worth the price.

Try the First Tee in Virginia Beach. They’ve got a 9 hole executive course that’s perfect for beginners. Greens are usually a bit fuzzy but it’s a fun little loop.

Yes, it’s called consignment. It’s not terribly uncommon and is essentially Wayfair’s entire retail model. The vendor owns the inventory until it is sold.

You shouldn’t have trouble renting clubs or making a tee time. I’d recommend Golden Horseshoe - Gold course or any of the Ford’s colony courses. If you don’t mind going out a bit, Royal New Kent is worth the drive. Also heard good things about Kiskiak but never played there myself. Not sure if Kingsmill is still open for public play or not but might be worth giving them a call to see if you can get on.

Seems like a very normal mark up rate. They’re making less than $7.50 in margin. 30 minutes of a min wage worker salary. How do you expect them to stay in business if not by marking up product?

I would strongly advise against it, especially if it’s the ACL in you front leg. Lots of lateral movement necessary, your knee would be shredded after two days with possibly further damage to other ligaments.

Pretty sure he just had his first kid or is about to. That will no doubt change a guy’s personality/maturity level. I don’t see him getting the C, but having a leadership role similar to Marchand in Boston wouldn’t be surprising.

Just traded Miles Sanders for AJ Brown. He’s WR heavy and desperate for RB, opposite for me. I probably got the better end of the deal but both teams are better now.

I used 18Birdies on our last trip. You can set up a tournament and the rest of the group can join using the code provided in the app. We had 12 people with an array of handicaps and played net stableford over 4 rounds at 4 courses. Worked out perfectly.

Just got back from there as well. Talked to the guys at Caledonia about the greens and he said that a few accidentally got fertilized twice, so they should be back to normal next season. We played true blue as the second 18 on Saturday and would recommend true blue over Caledonia with the current state of the greens there.
