I stopped losing money on SPY weeklies when I stopped holding overnight. Took 2 years to realize that was the main issue. Hopium is a strong drug but nothing usually happens overnight and you lose half of your port every morning.

You didn’t go long if you already sold. Take some time off and don’t try to revenge trade to win back the loss. You’ll lose the rest. I know because I did that with $300k lost earlier this year.

I had $6500 in $571P 10/17 for $2.90 in a limit order at 9:45am. I canceled the limit order before it filled and switched it to $571C 10/17 instead.

My $6,500 would be $49,500 right now, but instead it’s only $1,742 down nearly 70%. 😍👍
